Maos Station (MA)

Maos Station is a major type C station located on Stasiun Maos Street, Karangreja, Moas, Cilacap. Operating since 1887, this station boasts seven railway tracks used for arrivals, departures, and freight unloading.

 

Maos Station serves trains traveling through the central and southern Java routes. It is also a stop for the local Kamandaka and Joglosemarkerto trains. Additionally, the station accommodates Pertamina fuel transportation freight trains.

 

It's worth noting that the current Maos Station building is not the original structure from its establishment in the 1880s. The station was rebuilt in 1923 after being destroyed by an earthquake. However, the station's original overcapping roof remains intact from the initial construction.

 

Today, Maos Station is equipped with adequate facilities, including parking areas, a prayer room, charging booths, and a nursery room. There are also waiting areas, information centers, ticket counters, and self-service ticket printing machines available.
