For 2 days 1 night, we will take you to climb Mount Slamet until reaching its peak. Because it is an open trip tour, this challenging trip will certainly be more fun by climbing together.
Mount Slamet (3,428 mpdl) itself is a conical volcano located on the island of Java, Indonesia. This mountain is located between 5 districts, namely Brebes Regency, Banyumas Regency, Purbalingga Regency, Tegal Regency, and Pemalang Regency, Central Java Province.
After Mount Semeru, which is the highest mountain on the island of Java, Mount Slamet is in second place. In Central Java, this mountain is the highest. Like other volcanoes on the island of Java, Mount Slamet was formed due to the subduction of the Indo-Australian Plate on the Eurasian Plate in the south of Java Island.
The last activity was in May 2009 and until June it was still emitting incandescent lava. Previously it was recorded as erupting in 1999. It is said that Mount Slamet has a legend that has been passed down from generation to generation. The name slamet is taken from the Javanese language which means safe. This name was given because it is believed that this mountain has never had a big and major erruption and gives a sense of security for local residents. According to local people's beliefs, if Mount Slamet have a major erruption, then the island of Java will be split into 2 parts.
