





Travel to the Nam Ngum Reservoir, a secluded 250-square-kilometer expanse of water with beaches, swimming spots, and more, about 100 kilometers from Vientiane. The day starts with an early pick up from your hotel. From there, drive by car or minivan to the Nam Ngum Reservoir. On the way, you'll be stopping by Vang Sang, where you can find 10 high-relief Buddha sculptures on cliffs, that date back all the way to the 16th century! At lunch time, you'll arrive at Nam Ngum Reservoir, where you'll take your lunch at the boat restaurant by the lake. Afterwards, take a boat ride to the fishing villages in the islands to explore more of the reservoir. From there, you'll head back to Vientiane, but on your way, you'll stop by Ban Keun, a traditional salt abstraction site, and then continue on to Dong Mark Khai Market, where you'll find a smorgasbord of interesting things - a fantastic way to end your tour!
