





Ayutthaya, the second capital city of Siam and a prosperous international trading port. The ruins of the old city now form the Ayutthaya Historical Park, an archaeological site that contains palaces, Buddhist temples, monasteries and statues.
Visit Wat Mahathat, a royal monastery with a Buddha statue enshrined in a stupa through work Jinshin sarira.
Head to Wat Lokayasutharam, located behind the Royal Palace, to see the 42m giant reclining Buddha statue.
Take a long tail boat in Pasak River. (For safety reasons, night operation is not operated, Boat times may change depending on the season there is.)
See Wat Chaiwatthanaram, a Khmer style temple built by King Phrasat for his mother. Said to have been built as a model of Angkor Wat.
