I was a little disappointed that the driver did not know English, but his driving skills were so good and he did his best to respond. Thanks to you, we go back to Hanoi with good memories. If I come on a trip next time, I would like to meet him again.

The shuttle that collected us after our Halong Bay cruise had the chairs that allowed the leg rests to elevate, the chairs moved forward backwards and the back rest could also be adjusted. Only thing is, only our kids under 10 and my dad could use those features as they're short. I'm 5.10 and my legs were too long to use the foot elevation as the seat in front was too close. However, driver was friendly and good and even though we didn't ask, he stopped somewhere along the way for a toilet break and food and we were happy with this. This place had amini mart inside with some Souvenirs if you like to purchase those or snacks. There were plenty of food options also. The driver who took us to Halong Bay the previous morning didn't stop there so im not sure if its only a return trip thing? The driver going from Hanoi to Halong Bay stopped at the Pearl farm but we weren't interested so walked to the Cafe and sat and waited while he had his coffee.
