It was a lovely place to stay. Friendly and helpful staff, beautiful location and great food. You have access to a private beach. Everything was wonderful. It is close to Perce but, much quieter and slower vibes. We would stay here again.

It was very cozy, comfortable, and clean. We really enjoyed the antics and so interesting place to be. It had access to the beautiful beach. The breakfast was amazing. The only feedback for improvement is that I would prefer white towels. We will be back again!

Excellent location, and was more of an experience than we were expecting. Building is unique and very cool, and the food was amazing as we overlooked the ocean. Staff was very engaging and helpful, and we will absolutely be back, but for even longer next time.

C'est une petite auberge pittoresque au bord de la mer. Le bâtiment est vieux, le bois craque, mais c'est ce qui fait le charme de l'endroit. L'intérieur comporte plusieurs salons communs avec foyer et des chambres champêtres qui ont conservé les attraits originaux des lieux. Vous avez la vue sur la mer de la salle à manger ainsi que du jacuzzi, et on sent très bien la proximité avec celle-ci a y être. Accès à une des plus longues et plus belles plages de la Gaspésie. Le staff sympathique et les activités offertes vous promettent un séjour inoubliable. Et la bouffe maison super bonne!

This place is located about 7km away from Percé. It is right by the beach offering panoramic views. There's plenty of parking. The interior is decorated with a distinctive wooden cabin style, which reminds me of a hunter's lodge & gives it a lot of character. The owner is super nice and incredibly patient. Since it was off-peak season, she generously upgraded us to a big room with a huge private bathroom. The room was spotless too and well maintained. Breakfast is complimentary and made fresh. You order at the front desk, and the kitchen prepares it the next morning. You don't see that often these days! At the end we paid $272 for 2 nights. Taxes included! Overall, we were really happy with our stay. Would definitely recommend staying here instead of overpaying in town!

La plage à 2 pas : un regal pour un lever du soleil face à la mer et une promenade matinale. Et les meilleurs pancakes que j'ai mangé, préparés par la charmante cuisinière au large sourire. Mon meilleur séjour durant mes vacances au Québec!!

This was a heavenly place, an inn made up of various cabins, sitting on the Gaspe Peninsula, on a long stretch of beach extending several miles. The kitchen is accessible to all, breakfast is a choice of several good things individually made for each guest. It feels more like a large roomy country home where you are free to roam a series of dreamlike spaces, design your meal, only your hosts are not meddlesome like bad relatives but helpful, yet mindful of your independence in this homey space: The hosts are like the type of relatives you wish you had. There are a myriad of touches that make this place special beyond the spectacular view, such as the aesthetics of the place, its non commercial smell, that even the best hotels suffer from with nauseating aromatic cleansers. Here the wood construction and wood furniture give off a cedar smell, the place is spotless and everything works. The bedding is so comfortable that you will sleep even if you are an insomniac. I was, to quote Blanche Dubois, dependent “on the kindness of strangers,” as this is a region requiring a car and I came just with a pair of legs, a train, a regional airline, buses; and relied on two fantastic taxi drivers, a kind fellow traveler and a construction worker— who saved me halfway of a crazy walk back from town to the hotel. Had I been stuck at Cape de Base Gaspesie, however, I would not have minded one bit. I am glad I had the good sense to choose it.
