First class hotel and standard of accommodation, in keeping with the CGH brand of residence. Location a little out of town, but close by the bus stop and regular village shuttle bus. Possible to ski directly back to the hotel, however to access the slopes in the morning, approximate 500m uphill walk, which may be an issue with young children/elderly. Accommodation let down with attitude of reception staff and good luck if you need their assistance during your stay. We had issue with one of the showers in the bedroom and raised this with the staff on a couple of occasions, likewise problems with the internet connection. The matter was greeted with a shrug of the shoulders and as a result we didn’t have a working shower for the week’s stay. I was left with the impression that our staying at the hotel was an inconvenience to the staff and they would find their work a lot easier if the customers could just stop in their rooms. Great holiday on the whole and its always a pleasure to spend holidays in the mountains, just let down a little by our hosts and their attitude towards their paying guests.
