Villa Alicia is one of those rare discoveries. You drive across the lovely French landscape of La lire, through an elegant iron gate, and there, in the middle of sumptuous greenery, is the magnificent and imposing villa Alicia. Original, refined and tasteful decoration, spacious rooms. Delicious breakfast, and most charming hosts. Thank you anna and christophe, and I will come back again!.

When we stayed here for one night because it was close to a friend's wedding, we had a lovely stay. The newly renovated villa is stunning with characterful rooms, and the hosts are so friendly I stupidly forgot my tie, but they found spares. Breakfast is great with yummy homemade foods. I'll be back sometime.

The room was excellent, with a very comfortable bed and pillows. Wonderful bathroom and shower with great attention to detail. Dinner was delicious and served outdoors in the garden in the summer. Christophe and anna are great hosts and very attentive. would definitely stay again and again!.

I stayed here for 5 nights in September with my wife. Ana and Christo could not have been more accommodating because my wife was pregnant at the time. They were extremely warm and accommodating, everything was fine. Breakfast is lovely and has more than you can ever eat, with lots of homemade jams. If you're lucky enough to try Ant food, particularly the duck, it's fantastic. After all the lock-downs, this was our first holiday, and we were thrilled to find them. They are highly recommended! When we got there in the early evening after a long journey from the uk on our way to the south, we found that the local restaurant we had reserved had canceled us. We decided to slumber on the ever-changing terrace, tired, with a refreshing glass of local lire wine in hand, to eat ordinary bread rather than rise to go somewhere else. Thankfully, christophe and anna instead made a delicious meal of pasta with local truffles and homemade gateau. It was, in the end, one of the highlights of our trip. As others have noted, the building and its contents are remarkable and of enormous architectural and cultural merit. This is without a doubt not your ordinary chambers dotes. Our rooms were spacious and individually decorated in a special belle porque theme. Given the expansive grounds the villa occupies, the night was quiet, giving guests a good night's sleep. Running a hospitality business like this is a labor of love, and the proprietor's evident commitment to doing so perhaps explains why every single review on here is awarded a 5 star rating. If you are ever going or touring the region, you ought to try this location.
