After a long, exhausting drive from the East, my family & I arrived in Akureyri around 1:00 am. We were completely exhausted after driving from the South & just ready to get some rest. However, our check-in hit a small bump -- we were given the wrong code to our apartment & couldn’t get in. Thankfully, when I called the staff, he responded quickly & provided a new code. He was incredibly helpful & made the process smooth despite the late hour. The apartment itself was clean, cozy, & very comfortable -- too bad we only had one night to enjoy it! After settling in, my husband & I decided to head out for a quick drink. We found a nearby bar & enjoyed a refreshing local IPA beer. It was almost 3:00 am & we felt safe walking around the area. The locals were warm & welcoming, & it was the perfect way to unwind after such a long day.

Need to have parking, closer. Coffee press would be nice. We did not have the coffee pods that were needed. We had to go by coffee. Illy coffee was great though, but it would have been nice to make coffee in the apartment. Owner was super helpful and friendly.

Loved the location and the restaurant. Bakery 3 doors down for the kids. Could use a hairdryer, tissues, hooks for towels in the bathroom, toilet paper holder, and instructions how to open sofa bed. Comfy and warm bedding. Thank you! Would recommend!

Great communication, easy to check in. Unfortunately there were hairs all over the bed. There was a leftover coffee pad in the coffee maker and we couldn’t get the coffee maker to work. Near a lot of restaurants and stores.

Everything was perfect until i open the oven to cook something. I find some meat left by I suppose by the previous personne in the appartment. The odor not really pleasant when I opened the oven. Overall, the rest was perfect and I totallt recommend it (if the oven is cleaned :) ). And they have a laundry service, but is not include(1400 kr for the laundry and anither 1400 kr to dry). Since one of the reasin i took this appartment was because of the laundry services, is important to specify that is not include in the price.

The area around the property is a beautiful street with shops and restaurants. It is a very lively environment when you walk outside. The inside is modern and clean, with comfortable beds and a big sofa bed. Due to the location of the property, there is no parking nearby, so you have to walk a little bit to get to the door. During center city festivities, it gets decently loud. The front door requires some finicking to close it from the inside. The apartment was very hot even after all the heaters were turned down. We could not open the windows to sleep because of the festivities. There were no shower soap and hand towels provided.
