We had a really lovely weeks stay! Our room was really comfortable. Enjoyed the nice pool too. The location is great within walking distance to good local restaurants and Mushroom Bay. What really made our stay was Putu who really went out of his way to make sure all our needs were met from day cooking us very tasty yummy breakfasts to organising transport, snorkel trips, being so kind and helpful. Thank you Putu! Love to go back and highly recommend!

Nous avons déposé nos bagages le matin en arrivant, nous sommes ensuite arrivé le soir vers 18h les clefs été directement sur nos portes avec nos bagages dans les chambre mais pas d’accueil pour nous expliquer le fonctionnement de l’hôtel et du petit dej le lendemain Petit déjeuné très moyen , les pancakes sont plus des crêpes mais celle à l’ananas était bonne . Salle de bain pas très propres , elle prend l’eau quand il pleut et les évacuations ne fonctionne pas très bien. Les chambres sont toutes collées et malheureusement mal insonorisées, on entend tous nos voisins Pour une nuit ça a fait son job pour un séjour je ne conseillerais pas

First: We didn't stay at the Royal Cottage, instead we were moved to: The Royal Retreat Villas. So this feedback may be a bit misleading for this hotel! We were supposed to stay at a Royal Cottage where there was no staff to check us in when we arrived. We waited for about an hour before they arrived and told us we would be staying at their other location (Royal Retreat Villas) - (during that time, we had tried contacting them both via WhatsApp and through Hotels.com). It felt both unsafe and confusing to arrive at a hotel that had confirmed our stay without giving any notice about the change. So we got off to a rough start, but once we settled in at the new place, it turned into a really nice stay. However, the check-in process definitely needs improvement so that guests are at least informed in advance that they are staying at another location. With that said: Friendly staff with great options for activities. We went on a fishing trip and a snorkeling trip arranged by the staff. It was also possible to rent a scooter, which made it easy to get around the island. Wifi is great! Breakfast was boring and the portions were a bit small. Just don't expect much so you don't get disappointed.

We didn’t even get to stay at this property. Despite the fact that we booked way ahead of time and had already paid, we showed up and they were “fully booked” and moved us to a different accommodation - which was unfortunate because we had picked this one based on the location. We ended up having to rent a scooter to get to where we wanted to go because it was further away than we had planned so it ended up being an extra expense.
