We hope to return to this location in the future. Come to this location with your family because you have been on vacation and have stayed here. Tiny huts, terraces, rooms and bathrooms. But there is a very amazing view from this place, especially in the morning. You can see the beauty of mount rinjani which is bright without being covered in fog. We stay here during the month of ramadan, so there is no breakfast, but you can cook in the kitchen. Great then, we are enjoying our vacation in this place and not going anywhere. Wifi is available. The place is clean and the service from the staff is very good.

The food and accommodations are quite basic, but the location, landscaping, and especially the staff there are all excellent. The prices are quite reasonable. After dark, they will light a bonfire in their amazing fire pit if you ask.

Kamar dan kamar mandinya bersih, air panas berfungsi dengan baik, pelayanannya bagus, lingkungannya sangat asri, kalau cerah bisa lihat Rinjani. Lokasinya agak jauh dari Sembalun, tapi kalau trekking oke tempatnya.

Homestay atau hotel atau penginapan atau sejenisnya yang terletak di pinggiran ladang dan di sisi jalan pendakian Gunung Rinjani. Bentuk rumah mini dengan 2 atau 1 tempat tidur dan 1 kamar mandi seperti kosan. Tidak ada TV di sini (lagipula tidak perlu TV). Suasana di sini damai, sejuk, dan nyaman. Jika cerah, pemandangan Gunung Rinjani terlihat dari wisma ini. Memang agak jauh dari jalan utama. Tapi menurut saya sangat damai dan nyaman untuk menginap. Pengelola penginapan juga sangat ramah dan informatif jika kita bertanya tentang destinasi pariwisata di area Sembalun atau lainnya. Sangat direkomendasikan menurut saya. Penginapan biasa yang luar biasa.

Tempat ini sangat cocok untuk liburan sejenak dengan suasana yang tenang, nyaman, asri, dan pemandangan langsung ke Gunung Rinjani Lombok. Kamarnya bagus dan nyaman dengan harga terjangkau. Namun, disarankan untuk membawa persediaan makanan ringan dan minuman yang banyak karena lokasinya yang jauh dari toko atau warung.

About The Gate Rinjani

“The Gate” is the best mountain lodge in East Lombok. Located in Bawak Nao village Sembalun at the foot of Rinjani mountain ( Beside the gate to climb Mt Rinjani ). It takes only a 2-hours drive from Lombok International Airport. The atmosphere is fantastic, with clean air, mount Rinjani sceneries, and a well-maintained environment. The room is spacious, clean, and comfortable. The facilities are in very good conditions as well.

Located at a height of 1000 meters above sea level, 5 minutes walking distance to the Rinjani gate the start point climb to Mount Rinjani, and 7 hours walking normal time to Mt Rinjani Basecamp or Plawangan Sembalun.

Only 5 minutes drive to the center of Sembalun and 15 minutes walking time to the gate of Pergasingan Hill Sembalun.

This hotel is suitable as a place to stay before and after climb Mount Rinjani.
