The rooms were very nice, the bed was a little hard, but that seemed standard everywhere we stayed and the air conditioning kept us comfortable. The best part was communicating with the family who owns the place and alba, the chef. Breakfast was always good and it is definitely worth having dinner at least once. Our group of six had a great experience with food straight from their farm. There were 14 different food items and multiple bottles of wine shared, and it was only 58 euros for my wife and me. This was a fantastic value for what we got. Agriturismo il borghetto was a great home base for us to visit a number of lovely nearby towns.

The agriturismo, which has been beautifully renovated, is a friendly family-run establishment just outside of the lovely town of Montefalco. We enjoyed an overnight here and had a charming, beautifully appointed room with furniture made of wine casks! Upon arrival, we were greeted by the family's retired father, who gave us a tour of the entire agriturismo, which has about half a dozen rooms, as well as plenty of sitting area space. He was born and raised in this house. We also walked to the cantina, where he gave us an impromptu wine tasting. We enjoyed talking to him and later meeting other family members, including the 3-year-old driving around the driveway in his electric car. Breakfast was a nice continental buffet, and we talked with other visitors. We especially appreciated the attention to detail and care that went into renovating this I. The younger generation now taking over management and marketing is creative and committed. I strongly recommend Il borghetto. We spent 75 euros and will most certainly return in the future.

It was an authentic Italian experience. The chef here, Alba, prepared dinner for the kings and I thought I had died and gone to heaven. I would come back in no time and advise everyone to eat here. We didn't have a lot of trouble staying there, but I would have.

We stayed at Il Borhetto for a truly unforgettable group meal, a tour of the grounds, olive trees and grape vines, a taste of the proprietor's home white wine straight from the tap, and a delicious dinner, the taste of the big night. The plate of family-style meals kept going out and each one was better than the next. Everything felt warm, authentic, and magical. I'm so glad I got the chance to visit this family and spend time at their house.

A few years ago, we visited Ug's small garden in Eden. It is one of those places where you won't need all that luxury. Of course, we carry a good kitchen knife and a good sommelier to open the daily bottle of wine, but that's because we're in a place we love. Considering the difficult times in Italy, Ugo and his family keep the property to a very high standard. The greetings are always heartwarming, and one always feels welcome. Next to that, there is the beautiful setting. Close enough to lovely Todd with all the shops one needs, a good walk from ici with a wonderful restaurant, and within driving distance of all the magnificence beautiful maria has to offer. So, yes, we will happily return for many years to come.
