This hotel is close to everything, there is a swimming pool here that is quite clean and safe for children too. The apartments here are very basic, and we got a breathtaking view of the lake and Simone from our roof terrace.

The location is in the middle of a village surrounded by building sites and cranes, which is something you might think of on your own. It has nothing to do with a farm trip. When we arrived, the owners were so busy that they almost didn't have time to welcome us. The owners didn't mind being around, and the brother who works in the restaurant spent most of his time swimming and flirting with the female customers. They entertained a lot of their friends while we were there. The pools were comfortable for kids, and the accommodations were decent. But, the price is very expensive. The room was furnished with inexpensive Ikea furniture and no Italian ambiance. We also received a price online, and when we went to pay, the price was higher. When I challenged the price, there was no issue, but there was also no explanation, which I thought was a bit suspicious. So, the rooms are ok as is the pool. The location is awful, and the utter lack of servicemindedness and the absence of the wonderful Italian charm so many italians have.

We booked on the basis of the photographs on the website and previous positive experiences of agriturismo italy. No restaurant as advertised, no general resemblance to the website, less luxury as implied and more backpacker in reality. When raised as an issue the response was defensive and unapologetic. On the plus side the rooms were nicely decorated. Good backpacker experience not a boutique hotel or rural agriturismo.
