Amazing location in the heart of Palermo city. It is not a modern hotel but a well kept traditional property - but it does have a lift! Rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable with working AC. Both Giuseppe and his colleague Dario were super friendly and helpful. A typically European style continental breakfast is offered daily. Parking onsite is free - you do have to drive into the pedestrian zone but it’s very close to the top of the street so you don’t have to drive far. Would recommend for short stays.

We stayed at Palazzo Pantaleo for one night and had a wonderful experience. It offers a rare combination in central Palermo: the main attractions, restaurants, and lively streets are within walking distance, yet the hotel is remarkably peaceful. Set in a secluded courtyard behind surrounding buildings, it feels like an oasis in the heart of the action. A major advantage for anyone traveling through Sicily by car is the private parking directly in front of the hotel. Although the property is within a pedestrian-oriented, restricted-access area, guests can drive in and park on the premises—an extremely valuable and almost unique convenience in central Palermo. The rooms have the character of a traditional Sicilian palazzo, with impressively high ceilings of about 4–5 meters (13–16 feet). This creates a sense of space and preserves the atmosphere of an elegant early-20th-century residence. The owner is a charming older gentleman who makes every effort to care for his guests, often with a joke and distinctly Sicilian humor. His manner is authentically European—direct, witty, and refreshingly free of scripted smiles. American travelers may notice the cultural difference, but it is part of the property’s personality and charm. C’est la vie—and very pleasantly so! Breakfast was enjoyable, with fresh pastries and savory options. Overall, Palazzo Pantaleo offers historic character, tranquility, an unbeatable location, and the rare luxury of on-site parking. Highly recommended.

Great central location. The room was big and clean. There was some bottled water in the fridge, which was very handy. Breakfast was good, though I would suggest a bit more variety. Parking is available and gated at night. The property feels very secure.

Staying at Palazzo Pantaleo was like a throwback to an earlier time, before corporate hotels and airbnb. The owner was present and attentive, the room was lovely, the breakfast, served in a small room, was excellent, the staff were very pleasant. The rooms themselves are updated – excellent wifi, and large, renovated bath. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you, Signor Pantaleo.

Hyggeligt, lille B&B midt i det historiske Palermo. Stedet drives af 84 årlige Giuseppe Pantaleo med hjælp fra et lille, elskværdigt personale og hans 2 døtre. Vi har boet der 2 gange á hhv. 3 k og g 4 overnat. Og vi kommer gerne igen. B&B’et ligger på 3. Sal af en ældre ejendom i byens hovedgade med mulighed for parkering, hvis man er i bil. Prisen er meget rimelig og omfatter en fin morgenmad.

We very much enjoyed our stay here and I can recommend it to anyone. We felt welcomed from the first moment by the nice man who handles the parking, then by Mr. Giuseppe who took care of us, both charming and service minded. The place is clean and well kept, the double suite we had was spacious and the beds firm but comfortable. The air conditioners were efficient and the shower worked well. The location is great, with much of the central town within walking distance. Private parking is a great benefit and finding the way to the place works well if you follow the map and instructions. The breakfast was very nice with a selection of juice, coffee and tea, yoghurt, fruits, bread, cold cuts and various cakes.
