We booked this tour as part of our anniversary trip across italy and we were both very surprised and happy by the wonderful and friendly welcome, tour of the family business, delicious tasting with accompanied antipasto followed by wild boar ragu and pasta lunch. Irena and Elena make us feel like family and wish we could have stayed while not being rushed back to Florence.

Fortunately we were able to get a tour of the vineyard through our travel agency that included wine tasting and a light lunch. Our travel agency welcomes us to the vineyard, whose family owns it. Irene, who presided over the tour, treated us with care as she directed us through the pathways and areas where the wines are made and kept. Then, it was time to have lunch and a wine tasting in the garden. Lunch began with a large tray of meets, cheeses, and bruschetta, followed by pasta made with their own tomatoes and ice cream for dessert. Throughout the lunch, we tried out different wines and their olive oil. We were eager to purchase some wine and olive oil to take home with us, even though there was no large sales pitch. They also ship wine for you. Nothing like the price we paid in Napa last month, and the prices were quite reasonable. Best experience we've ever experienced in Italy!.

A day trip from florence took my wife and I to a grave and then a tour of this working vineyard and olive oil farm. It was fascinating to see the production process of the wine. Irene was very knowledgeable about the farm's history and how the grapes are raised, harvested, and made into their private label wine. She also explained the process of pressing the olives into extra virgin olive oil and how everything leftover is utilized so that nothing is wasted. We were served a light lunch that included some meats, cheeses, and a very good pasta dish. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and serene. Our 2 hours here were well spent to get to the farm at the top of a hill on the old country gravel road. This is the tour for you if you need a break from the crowds of Florence and are interested in seeing how wine and olive oil are made. irene took care of everything while we had wine and olive oil shipped back to the US. We heartily suggest this excursion! Thank you once more for a wonderful afternoon!

I spent a lovely afternoon here visiting the cellars and enjoying delicious food and wine in the lovely garden with stunning views. Irene gave us a very personal insight into the family business and was a great guide. We hope to return.

Before reaching Villa Stefano, we traveled through Europe. We leased a villa with a private pool and access to the larger pool. There are 3 bathrooms, which could accommodate 14 people. The villa was unique because it was where the whole family grew and lived. informative tour that focuses on winemaking and olive oil. Observed the old cellar where vintage wine is kept in cool conditions. Endnote tasting. Lovely backcountry to other vineyards and villas from the villa down the valley. The landscape was stunning. I really enjoyed our two-week stay. strongly advised.
