It's a beautiful place. The location is very isolated and remote, on a large island. John Williams, who is a wonderful host, invited us to join him while he was sailing. Everyone has a lodge that is quite comfortable and luxurious, and the service is always attentive and kind. Excellent food. A place to relax and enjoy the amazing birds.

The place is located in Mfangano island resort, which is a perfect place to stay and visit. The rooms are magnificent with an expansive lake view. Food is excellent. The staff is very kind. I would recommend visiting Mfangano Island Resort for a relaxing and romantic atmosphere to couples.

This is a wonderful easter weekend. The island of Mfangano is amazing. The staff was excellent and the rooms were very fun. There aren't many activities and staff ideas are hard to come by. It's great if just wanting peace and relaxation. If you want action, bring a kayak or fishing rod to amuse yourself. The village tour was very educational and the sunset hill is a must! Will return.

The layout of the room was stunning, especially with the experience of attempting to explore other islands in their own very cozy boat, and also with the thoughtful and well furnished chill places. But, what makes this wonderful lodge so unique is that it can be a magical mix of exotic and cozy, so you can easily loose a few weeks there.
