Nice rooms, great location, and very friendly staff. The bed was very comfortable. There were many outlets in the room which were important for charging batteries, devices, etc. Breakfast was great too fresh fruit, yogurt, and eggs cooked to order with coffee, juice, or tea.

Our two 8 year olds stayed at the Villa Balance and had a good time. Marie and pierre are incredibly welcoming and eager to do everything in their power to make our stay the best it could be. The location is ideal in the first place. We quickly met several shopkeepers and restaurant personnel down a small alley in the medina, just off the major shopping street, within only two days. Its simple to move around the medina and get back to the villa without being disturbed. Our room was ideal for our little family, and with the windows that were wide open to the street, we were able to enjoy the sounds of the town without feeling disturbed. Pierre prepared the freshomelets that we could order, along with delicious bread and fruit, at the best breakfast we had in all of Morocco. We certainly felt pampered. Its nice to see people who are eager to welcome tourists back and who truly enjoy their work. I would return to this hotel in no time. We loved Essaouira more than Marrakech because the streets were calmer without all the motorbikes passing by, the air was cooler due to the coast, and we really appreciated the fresh fish choices we had everywhere we went. The atmosphere is quite pleasant to stay in, even though the ambience was also nice. But this place is not too spectacular, the location is very strategic, it is within walking distance to the port, beaches, and medina. The room condition is clean and all the required amenities are well thought out.

essaouira was one of my favorite places, so I wanted to be there to celebrate my birthday, and we couldn't have chosen a better book to do so. I really cannot recommend this read enough. The owners are some of the most wonderful people I've ever met, and when I received some devastating news, they were extremely wonderful and kind, and I will never forget them. The outlook from the balcony is breathtaking, and the breakfast was excellent. I really wish I had dinner here because the menu looked delectable, and if the breakfast was anything to go by, I know it will be wonderful! The rooms were gorgeous. Everything was tastefully furnished, and you could tell that care was given to each and every room. But in terms of location, it couldn't have been better! You are right next to what I call little souk street, which is not actually called that. And you're only an alley away from what I call big souk street, which is obviously not called that either. You are very near to some fantastic restaurants and are only a 10-minute walk from the port. I will be returning to Essaouira, and I will not hesitate to reserve a room at Villa Balance because it gave me a home away from home. I appreciate everything so much. I'll always feel at ease here. We stayed in this beautiful read for 2 nights in the middle of the medina. The room is big with a comfortable bed not modern, but Moroccan style. The breakfast was good with various fresh vegetables from the region. The staff was very welcome, friendly and helpful.
