• As a sustainable property, we collect rainfall water that we store and filter. Under certain situations the tap water may not be completely clear. That's perfectly safe. Please report it to the manager. The water may also lose pressure due to the collection system, please report it and it will be easily fixed by our staff
• Never leave food in the kitchen or deck unattended. It will attract animals who will eat or ruin it
• No loud music is allowed. The deck is an open space and both music and noise will travel easily to our neighbors. It is a community rule not to bother each other
• You will find all kinds of harmless creatures in the garden like kermits, frogs, crabs or snails. They are part of the ecosystem. Do not damage them
• Do not dig in the white sand or you will incur permanent damages
• For security reasons, always lock the rooms sliding door and don't leave valuable belongings in the outdoor area while you are outside or sleeping. We have security cameras, the compound has security guards but still, the property is accessible by the beach
• Strictly NO PARTIES ALLOWED. If you are intending to host a party or an event, please don't book Moonrise Villa. If a party is detected, every person not in the list of guests will incur a fee of $30 per person and your booking will be cancelled
• We are cool with dinner with friends, or visitors for day activities like coworking, but any visitor needs to be reported to the host beforehand. Any infraction can incur a cancelation of the booking. Visitors can never stay overnight. Visitors who remain in the facilities after midnight will incur an extra charge of $15 per person
• Guests must maintain harmony and peace with the local community and neighbors. It is mandatory to be polite to everybody in the community and listen to their complaints if any. We have children and neighbors of all ages and contexts in the immediate surroundings
• IMPORTANT: The front curtains must be rolled down every night to prevent the damage of night rains especially during rainy season. Our wooden deck and furniture are made of noble wood that can be damaged if exposed to water. Our staff may enter the premises at any time to roll them up and down according to the weather. If the guests opens the front curtains off-hours, they must close when they are sleeping or absent, or when the rain hits
• Keep the front bamboo gate closed at all times except when you are using the beach area. The gate is designed to keep dogs and trespassers out of the property. Unfortunately, Siargao is full of stray dogs that can damage the property and your belongings
