I booked a room through application for 3 nights. Great location in the confirm area, safe 15 to 20 minute walk to the main attractions and port area, and close to the metro if needed 2 stops to campanha railway station. Raquel and luis own the building and are very welcoming. Raquel welcomed us and spent time explaining the apartment and the area. We stayed in an apartment on the top floor that was beautifully decorated and well-appointed with a kitchen area, comfortable bedroom, spacious sitting and eating area and big shower with plenty of hot water. A lovely communal garden in the back, perfect if the weather is nice. We had torrential downpours on our and day so decided to cook in after visiting the Bolvar market and buying fresh fish. We were wet and cold back, and couldn't get the heating to work. Luis came to deal with it on a Saturday night, no problem. Two neighbourhood coffee shops for breakfast were great comb coffee and birds of passage highly recommend and uber was very well picked us up just outside in time.

The best part of Trap House is the friendly and informative host. The area's centrality and walking tours are very close. The room was lovely and clean. The owner is very professional and informative about Porto. The room design is contemporary, plus clean and modern.
