Property was neat! Close walking distance to many things, clean, basic kitchen, comfortable beds. Check in was NOT smooth, but this was an expedia issue.

Fiquei no estúdio superior, com um bela vista para o tejo, bem no alto da Alfama, bairro muito pitoresco. O tamanho é bom, confortável, cozinha com os itens necessarios, limpeza semanal com troca de roupas de cama e banho. Checkin e checkout remotos. Valeu o custo-beneficio. Mas fica o alerta de que nem todos as unidades tem vista.

In the heart of Alfama, newly refurbished and great value for money. Stayed with two kids 4 and 9 and it worked out fine. :) The place is kind of hard to find - go to Largo de Santa Marinha and go downhill R. de Olivieirinha, and you will find it on your left hand side.

Super hyggeligt område, søde værter der gav gode tips til steder at besøge. Værelset var helt i top og super rent. Det eneste, vi var negativt overrasket over, var det ekstra 30€ rengøringsgebyr, som vi skulle betale, samt et 100€ depositum (som vi dog fik tilbagebetalt). Rengøringsgebyret bør være inkluderet i prisen.

Vila Sta Marinha is located in central Lisbon on top of a hill. We found the location charming and the apartment was nice and tidy. But I would not recommend this to someone who can not easily walk up and down the hills. The service was excellent, we dropped off our bags early in the morning to the Guesthouse of the same hotel chain and did the check in there. Our bags were transported to the apartment for the afternoon, when we met the manager there. He was very helpful with everything and available by phone and Whatsapp all the time. he also got us the airport taxi for 4 am. The Vila Sta Marinha was ok with two kids, but I think it would be the better for couples. Good experience anyway in a 3-star apartment.

Found the area was very quiet and communication was very prompt. The studio was extremely small and not very clean. This space would be ideal for one person and not two, not much room to move around in. Bathroom was extremely small and there was mold around the grout... also got extremely humid after you showered. So for us it wasn't ideal and wont stay here again.

Nos tenían que dar acceso a las 14 horas y tuve que esperar casi 4 horas para contactar un representante. Tuve que llamar a Expidia. Adicionalmente sufro de asma. Por la espera y la lluvia me dio asma. En lo particular no lo recomiendo.

This property is in a great location, but it is very awkward lay out. The shower door doesn't close so you barely can fit in it. The property is not suitable for someone who has mobility issues. The bed takes up the whole room so you can't get off the side of the bed. The bathroom has no counter space or towel rack and is very small. Very important to know, you can't drop luggage off early so you are stuck with it until 4:00 pm. I made this last minute, so I didn't have many choices.

The property sent us information on the day of arrival about our arrival, but as it went through Hotels.com, it only arrived in my inbox after 18h30 the evening, hours after our arrival, and being unable to reach anyone I was also quite disappointed that the cleaning fee was charged separately, as it made the accommodation much more expensive than originally planned for. The place is trendy, and modern. No issues with staying there, and the guy that helped us was very friendly and sweet.

The hotels payment system wasn’t working and they made us get a taxi to the other side of Lisbon after 30 hours of travel with our 4 month old daughter. I wish I would have listened to the bad reviews. If you choose to book make sure you have the entry codes before you get to Lisbon! We had to help other people that were locked out as well. The unit was clean and in a decent location but everything else was bad. The bed was as wide as the bedroom, the stairs were like an obstacle course, the shower is tiny and the door is too big for it (making it almost impossible to shower in) and it was really noisy. Would not stay here again and wouldn’t recommend especially if you have kids.

We could not get in. Door closed. No e-mailed instructions how to get key. Wrong contact phone number. We were standing in the rain not knowing what to do until very nice cleaning lady let us in into hallway. Bad organization. The street extremely hard to find - even for taxi driver. Extremely small shower (60 cm x 60 cm). Hard to move even for a v. small person. A lot of stairs going up. Otherwise clean and ok bed.
