Exceptionally clean and really friendly! They are so nice that they even accommodated my baby's need to eat early and made her a special meal that she loved. If you are on a budget, stay here. It's also a very historical place. We kept losing power in our room and the hot water took 40 minutes to come in, but it's expected I guess, this being sri lanka.

My advice to guests is to go to this hotel. The staff is fantastic. The place is amazing! Upon entering the gate, I fell in love with it. You are greeted by a lovely garden. Beautiful trees and plants are kept in a very well-kept environment. The history of the hotel is clear from what I have seen. Wood panels and lovely furniture will transport you back in time. To top it off, the restaurant serves delicious meals.

Excellent service, excellent room service, fast service, I also like the view from the hotel and the decoration of the pool. The perfect idea is the French style. I really believe I'm in France.

We stayed here for a day and had to say that we were greeted by one of the most friendly employees in Sri Lanka. I personally adore nara eliza and love the english style of most of their hotels. Mirage kings cottage is no exception. It is a huge property with a gaming facility and bike rentals. Very close to the city so you can walk in the surrounding forest very safe and you are in town in no time. They have a restaurant on the premises but only offer a set menu. Their cuisine was gray and could have been better. Very peaceful place, and you will enjoy the cold breeze in the evening.

The lakeside location is pleasant, but this place is a little outside the city center. We walked about 30 minutes and through some interesting neighborhoods. We were offered tea at the cottage. Our room was in the main building, but there were no lights. The shower also had no door, which meant the bathroom was very wet. The manager didn't see that as a problem, which was very weird. There is a window, but the view is terrible. Three walls within 2 meters and they were building right behind our room. We shrewd and got a cottage, which was fine for us. It had everything we needed except for a key. We had to request it twice. We didn't feel really welcomed from the moment we arrived. It seemed like ok you are here but not our priority guests. It felt more like we were being tolerated, which was very irritating. Our driver had to sleep in a room with five other drivers, he didn't know. However, according to the front desk, they are doing everything in order to fight the covidpandemic. He didn't feel save and went to another hotel. The only thing good about the breakfast buffet was the staff and the employees. They were very friendly and tried to make us feel comfortable. Even the chef came and asked if the food was good

This hotel was just average. The grounds and gardens around the hotel were beautiful and well maintained, but they can do a better job with the interior. The sheets had tears in them and the towels looked very worn. We were also informed that the wifi would not be working during our stay. All the rooms are located in one building, the walls are very thin so you can hear other guests talking and doors closing. Staff was wonderful!

Rooms are not soundproof at all. The restaurant is average. Staff are very nice and helpfull. The outside is very nice and old english style. Rooms are well furnished with enough equipment.
