The room was big and felt very comfortable and luxurious. The bed was huge and super comfy. Shower was good. Loved the decor. The Ropemaker room is in the basement but it was still felt light and airy - you could open the window. Lovely building. Quiet building. Welcoming entrance. Great location, just off Leith High Street and a tram stop round the corner. Easy to get into Central Edinburgh. A second mirror in the room itself would be useful especially for women to dry their hair or put on make up! A tab disappointing was the instant coffee for that standard of room. Loved the Yorkshire tea. Coffee bags or a nespresso machine in the room would have been a nice touch, you can self serve a nespresso in the entrance.

The townhouse pictures are representative of the suite/room. The Leith neighbourhood is really charming and a quiet and relatively tourist free area. Easy short tram ride from Edinburgh city centre and tram connection to the airport.

The room was very clean and the property was very well maintained. There is no front desk, but staff was available via phone and were friendly and accommodating. Housekeeping came to service the room daily. The hotel was only about a 10 min uber ride from the heart of the city. 10/10 would stay again.

Excellent, beautiful space - we had the Salamander room. Check in easy. Half a block from Edinburgh tram, 15 minutes to city. Lots of interesting cafes/dining. Lively part of Edinburgh.

Well appointed townhouse. At the far bottom end of Leith Street which made it quiet and restful. Still very walkable to most things and tram stop is very close by.

Room was small but well equipped and had lovely extras like water, tea, coffee, biscuits. Room was a self check in so we never saw any staff. Room was serviced daily. Bed was extremely comfortable and location was good, not right in the heart of Edinburgh but a short taxi or bus ride away.
