Wonderful place to stay!! Luckily we were able to get the last room last minute and it truly was great. Beautiful views, bathroom is amazing, and very clean. Staff was very kind!

The room had everything we needed, it was quaint & convenient. The kitchen / breakfast setup was perfect for doing our own cooking and purchasing just what we needed - a few eggs. I look forward to staying again the next time I’m in Oban!

Gorgeous view, excellent location. Walkable to train station, shopping, dinning. Our whole family was able to stay in a private room. Kitchen and common area were the cleanest we stayed at. Again, the sunset view from our room was amazing! Highly recommend.

Un accueil chaleureux au pub qui est juste en bas. Une chambre cosy, so British, comme on aime. Une cuisine commune qui permet de faire ses repas, mais également des produits de petits déjeuners que l'on peut acheter à bas prix. Allez manger au pub, l'ambiance est géniale et le personnel très sympathique. La vue sur la mer est un petit plus dans la chambre.

Charming guesthouse facing the esplanade. Convenient to all amenities within a short walk. Communal kitchen was awesome. Fully stocked. Rooms were a good size. Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Parking next to the building was £9 for the day or £1 per hour.

Great location, great price. No lift, so be prepared for lugging luggage up stairs. The bar downstairs is rowdy and the bass from the music bleeds up into the floors even a couple flights up. Bring ear plugs to try to still get sleep. I think it only lasted until 2ish in the morning. Otherwise great accommodation. It was helpful to have a common area kitchen available for use. Comfortable beds. Enough outlets. Clean bathroom. Ability to turn off the heating (October visit) as it was initially warm in the room. No washcloths but large towels, bath mat, and hand towel was provided. Easy pay and display parking right next door.

Hatten kein Frühstück gebucht. Das Guesthousr war sauber, die Zimmer ebenfalls, das Bad war modern und groß. Wichtig ist nur zu wissen, dass das Wasser für die Duschen außerhalb mit einem Schalter eingeschalten werden muss :) Das Treppenhaus wirkt alt, allerdings ebenfalls sauber. Betten waren gemütlich, das Zimmer war mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt hat.

Great location and great staff. The room was incredibly clean and had great views in the midst of Storm Amy of the waves etc. When shutting the shower door, one side of the glass completely shattered. Obviously very embarassing as it's a sliding bi folding door so impossible to slam etc. The lady working on reception immediately moved us to a different room and contacted a first aider. The first aider cleaned up the small cuts on my feet and was just incredibly lovely given how mortified i was. We didnt actually hear the bar at all in our room. We did have a drink there and the staff were all very friendly. Would definitely come back, all of the staff are amazing.

Some bedrooms are located in the adjoining building next to the main guest house. This will be clearly stated in the individual room description.We do not have private parking; however, council-operated car parks are located on either side of the property. Parking charges apply between 9am and 6pm, with parking free overnight.Please be aware that Corran House is a Victorian building with no lift. All upper floors are accessible by stairs only, and we are unable to offer a porterage service.Tea and coffee-making facilities are available in the communal guest kitchens. All food and drink must be stored and consumed within the designated kitchen and dining areas rather than in the bedrooms.Some of our bunk rooms are located directly above Markie Dans pub and may experience noise, particularly when live entertainment is taking place. This will be clearly stated in the room description before booking.Different policies and additional charges may apply to bookings of more than 8 rooms. Please contact us directly before making a group reservation.All guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. - (We are not a hostel)Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.
