The location was excellent. I needed somewhere to break my journey walking along the towpath of the Trent-Mersey canal, and this motel is only a mile north of the canal, at the midway point between the Anderton Boat Lift and the end of the canal at Preston Brook. I don't think I would have been able to complete the walk without its being where it is. Facilities were good (like an Extended Stay property, with a kitchen; bed was comfortable; convenience shop nearby was a bonus.

Staff were very friendly, it’s in need of renovation but I’m not going to complain too much given the excellent price. For a night or two, as just a place to sleep, I would 100% recommend.

I arrived late and the host had taken steps to make sure that I wasn't locked out. The room I had was large and I could have had my own kitchen setup if I was staying longer. In the morning I was greated by friendly host and I was offered a free continental breakfast.

Met at the door with a warm welcome. Receptionist was very friendly and inviting and gave us some tips about getting where we needed to go quicker. Rooms are of good quality for the price paid.

The manager of this hotel couldn't do enough for us. He has been living on the premises since lock down and running the place single handed, doing an excellent job. The hotel sits at a busy junction but you wouldn't know it when inside.

Arrived to ample parking and easy to find road signs.The person on the desk was extremely friendly and helpful with a fast check in. The room was very spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was ample with cereals ,fruit, bacon,sausage and boiled eggs and facilities for help your self toasting and coffee, orange juice and tea. All in all a very nice one night stay that we would recommend.

The room was clean but the bathroom toilet arrangement was curious. Staff were brilliant and helpful The heater in my room didn’t work so was freezing all the time I was there Everything else was fine bed very clean etc
