I booked last minute for a cycle event in the area, the directions were easy to follow, if you screenshot them as advised, phone signal is poor to non existent (bliss) The Meadow View Hut is clean cozy and well appointed, the fire burns very warm so one of the provided logs at a time. If you can’t be bothered with the hassle of the fire, the heating is plenty on its own. Falstone is a great staging post for Kielder Forest, and there’s plenty of adventurous things to do near by, endless walks and off road cycle trails. Thanks Posh Huts!

Small but perfectly formed! Large comfy bed, hot powerful shower, lovely peaceful location. Glad we chose woodland view rather than meadow view as it felt more secluded and tucked out of the way. Great spot for exploring Kielder!

We stayed in the yard for two nights. The hut and its garden may be quite attractive, but I'm afraid they're worn out and neglected. The hut needs a thorough cleaning, particularly the kitchen and the shelves at the head of the bed. Too much clutter. The underfoot heating and the radiator appeared to be acting erratically. The curtains were thin, with a retrained voice that let the light in. The towels were not performing as expected. However, the bed was really comfy, and the shower was powerful and clean. The outside was the most frustrating, the grass needed to be pruned and weeded. The lanterns and ornaments were rusty, and some broken items were shoved under the hut. The garden furniture was extremely poor, old, mismatched, and not suitable for wed brought our own camping chairs. Even the lovely dovecote was ugly. The instructions for the hut were vague, and when we arrived in Falcone, we had to ask the pub where they were as they were never advertised under falcone barns. Fortunately, a local knew they were in the same place. I think calling them posh huts is deplorable, tired huts would be more accurate. In September, we paid 240 dollars for two nights, which is a pricy price for luxury lodging.

We made reservations here while going to Fielder Observatory, but we weren't let down. The observatory is only a short drive away and quite simple to get there. The huts are fantastic and incredibly comfortable. I really enjoyed the small kitchen, and the bed was very cozy. Falcone Farm was incredibly simple to find, the only thing that drew us a little was what to do there since the reception is difficult to find. We discovered our hut, and the keys were simply in the door, so we let ourselves in. When we came, it was perfectly white, which made it impossible to take a torch. The hut itself was fantastic, and I would undoubtedly return. We grabbed food, drinks, and snacks, however, the only thing we didn't take was milk because we assumed there would be milk with the complimentary tea and coffee. We only had hot water, so if you enjoy a cup, use your own milk! We were given complimentary wood for the fire burner because the underfoot heating wasn't functioning. We did enjoy playing some board games in the hut while we were waiting for fielder. We didn't have a signal, so it was wonderful to get away from it all and spend time together. Overall, we had a great time and would return. After visiting the observatory, we were freezing, it was beautiful to drive back here!

I just spent the night here to unwind. The hotel's location is in a quiet, uncrowded village. Only 1 cozy, traditional pub, a tearoom, served us a delicious breakfast this morning, which is very recommended for a short visit. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. This place was like a second home for my wife, who was trying to relax and work for a short time.

Our first visit was this posh hut. During our stay, we were happy and happy. The atmosphere was very cozy and the bed was clean. The shower was very pleasant, but the only downside is that the windows could be cleaned more regularly, there were spiders on the windows, and also, there were slides that got stuck in the hut. The outside furniture was very outdated and mixed and there were no candles left in the area, and I didn't believe that it could have been quite gorgeous. The stars were breathtaking from the forest view, and we went to the pheasant inn for a pub meal.

Arrived late after several days hiking. No signage for PoshHuts so had to ask for directions, no key so had to ask for that too; brusquely (and somewhat rudely) told about key lock mentioned in booking email (hadn’t seen this beforehand). No food available anywhere nearby at such a late hour (8 pm!) so had to drive half way to Newcastle for something to eat. Enjoying our self-catered breakfast next morning we were rudely informed (again) that checkout time was imminent (10am) so could we vacate promptly! (Check-in is at 5:30pm so they apparently need 7&1/2 hours to flip the room!) Made to feel unwelcome and like unwanted intruders with each interaction with the owners. This spoilt what could have been a pleasant overnight stay. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you expect even a little genuine customer service and/or a relaxing time.
