We stayed here for the first time and you would have thought john had known us for years such a friendly man and so helpful Wells House was exactly what we needed for a short break. Located in the center of town, parking at the back of the house, the house is immaculate and the room is perfect maybe needs updating. Breakfast was perfect and there were lots of choices.

The location is 2 minutes from the city center, the husband and wife team who run are great hosts and the guest house is very clean and quiet. Will be back. Free parking and a small refrigerator in our room was a bonus.

A very comfortable and relaxing stay. John is very friendly and welcoming. Took a lot of time to explain the area. Great rooms and breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble. We will be back and will recommend staying here.

I stayed in this place because the property was very worn out and in need of cleaning. When we arrived at the hotel, the owner also requested that we pay in cash, as if we had paid by card, he would have to pay a fee. Although he was very educational about the area, we also had to hear about his back injuries at breakfast. Not exactly what you want to hear while traveling on a vacation. The breakfast room was dated and cold, and I was not sure how long the food had remained in place. Parking is available, which is a plus. I then stayed in Lakes a few months later, at a different I and I, which was a little more costly but a much better experience.
