Great experience for my girlfriend and I. It was our first time glamping! The yurts were cute, you also have an AC cooler inside which is nice during the summer. Restrooms aren’t your typical fancy hotel restrooms, it’s glamping in a deserted area so you shouldn’t expect anything more! Just minutes away from Joshua Tree national park, stores are nearby as well, we enjoyed every second of it. Erin greeted us with her handsome dog LeRoy! She was an amazing host both Erin and Leroy were the sweetest!

My first time "Glamping", so a lot of this was new to me. FYI....the doors in the photos are not full height. You do have to duck a little bit when going in and out. Not a big deal, but just point it out in case some people have bad backs and/or have trouble stooping. But on a major plus, the floors inside the one I stayed in were wood, so no dirt floors here. Learning to use the outdoor shower was a bit tricky. While it is enclosed with a wooden privacy fence, there is no place to store your change of clothes or to stand while drying off or to place your clothes. Highly recommend bring a drawstring bag or something similar to hold your clothes and hang it off the fence while you shower, or even pack a robe and a clothes hanger to hang it from so you can just use that to get back in to your yurt to change. Also recommend bringing a pair of flip-flops or similar sandals to use in the shower and to walk back into your yurt. I didn't think to bring this but I figured out a creative way to get dressed and dry my feet and then step into my hiking boots right outside the little tub enclosure I was standing in. Despite these little inconveniences there is something awesome about being able to shower outside and being able to have a natural breeze help dry you off outside that no indoor bathroom can match. Little inconveniences but still preferable to having to stay in a standard hotel with shared walls, so still recommend to try.

Was on our bucket list to stay in a Yurt, Mission accomplished. The owner was great and super helpful. Always liked taking outdoor showers! It is glamping so make sure you go with those expectations.

Check in: easy, detailed instructions were provided; Erin came to meet us at our Yurt, super friendly, welcoming, kind. Yurt: very spacious and there were 4 of us and we could fit 3 or more people; beautiful craftsmanship (authentic Mongolian yurt & ropings are made from horse hair too) Amenities: clean & our yurt had all the cookware, utensils, plates, cups, coffee, nice & cool AC unit inside the yurt, gas bbq grill Beddings/towels: super comfy & cozy with sheets & pillows Toilet & shower: clean, outdoors & user friendly & right next to the yurt (no need to use the hot water due to May temps) Stargazing: Beautiful clear skies lots of stars to see & they seemed so much closer than seeing it in OC. Outdoors: quiet time by 930pm so for those who can get loud, has to get it all out before 930pm 🤭😂; there were a few flies if you’re eating at the picnic table so either get the fly swatter from inside the yurt or bring a zapper ⚡️ to kill them since it can get annoying & red ants do roam on the ground so just expect a couple here n there Overall: will go back again for sure for another stay, quiet, nice, cozy, peaceful, fun quality time with loved ones Thank you Erin!!!

A very unique and wholesome experience. The Yurts are beautifully crafted and the amenities were excellent. Our host was very friendly and provided us with lots of helpful information. She even helped us to get a late dinner reservation at the Kitchen in the Desert restaurant with great atmosphere and great fusion cuisine.

our host was extremely accomodating. the place was clean and really comfortable. its a great glamping option. with a running heated shower, a flushing toilet, a full grill, fluffy comforters, a campfire and a mini kitchen. it was great

After camping at Joshua Tree National Park, we wanted one night at a hotel so we could all shower before flying home. Because we are a family of five, we opted for this over one of the several run-of-the-mill hotels in 29 Palms, and I'm glad we did. The yurt was much more spacious than a hotel room. The yurts are hundreds of feet apart so we did not hear the guests in the other yurts at all. The water in the outdoor shower was warm and the shower comfortable. The toilet was a boat toilet and I didn't love having to pump it after using it because the mechanism is a little stiff and I have some hand issues, but that was a relatively minor thing. Overall, super pleased we stayed here over a traditional mothel/hotel.
