Fantastic location on the South Rim of Grand Canyon. Staff was helpful. The breakfast was not included in the room fee but was delicious.

I had a wonderful stay at Bright Angel Lodge and would absolutely stay here again on a future visit to the Grand Canyon. The location is truly unbeatable. Being right on the rim and steps away from the Bright Angel Trail made it incredibly easy to experience sunrise, sunset, and some of the park’s most iconic views. One of my favorite memories was watching the sunrise before hiking down to the arch and seeing the mule riders heading into the canyon. It was such a unique experience. The cabins are cozy, comfortable, and surprisingly warm at night. While there is no air conditioning, it wasn’t an issue during my stay thanks to the cool canyon breeze. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the entire property felt welcoming and easy to navigate. My only minor disappointment was that I paid extra for a rim-side cabin and expected more of a direct canyon view from my room. The surrounding vegetation blocked most of the view from the cabin itself. That said, the property is still beautiful, and you’re only a short walk from incredible panoramic views, so it didn’t take away from the overall experience. Another huge advantage is how connected the lodge is to everything in the village. There are restaurants, gift shops, cocktail lounges, shuttle stops, bike rentals, guided tours, and mule rides all nearby. I rarely needed to drive because the shuttle system made getting around the park so easy. Overall, this is a fantastic place to stay if you want convenient access to Park.

Property was really nice and nostalgic. We pushed in just for 1 night prior to hiking down the trail to catch a rafting experience. The short amount of time we were there was superb.

We stayed for 3 nights celebrating my birthday and our wedding anniversary. Our lodge was absolutely perfect, we actually wish we’d booked to stay longer! The staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough to make our stay special. The shuttle bus to the village and Hermits Rest are only 5 minutes away, and having the Bright Angel Trail on our doorstep was truly awesome! We ate breakfast at Harvey House cafe which served huge portions and great coffee. We can’t recommend Bright Angel Lodges enough we loved it!

Booked ahead to make sure we would be in one of the vintage cabins, not the main lodge itself (so I can't speak to those rooms.) The cabin had vintage charm but all the amenities including a comfortable bed, ceiling fan, mini fridge, coffee maker, etc. Location just steps from the canyon rim and shuttle stops can't be beat. Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking can be a bit hit or miss but one can usually find something, plus there is temporary parking right in front of the main building for check in/check out. One tip: if you want to see the history room in the main building, do be aware it has limited hours, so check those first so you don't miss it like we did.

We were only at Bright Angel for 2 nights but it would have been really nice to have real cups in the cabins for coffee or the wine we brought. The paper cups leaked and we constantly had to go back to guest services for more. The Fountain was closed so access to coffee or a quick snack didn’t seem easy. Staff at the front desk didn’t offer maps so we went back twice to ask for trail maps and map of the property. The activities staff were great!! The cafe food was great and most affordable.
