Perfect location inside the park which allows early morning wildlife viewing. Lodges a bit tired with small rooms and patchy WiFi, but this is to be expected in the middle of a national park! Overall ideal for a short stay at Yellowstone.

This was our first visit to Yellowstone. The location was perfect for exploring Yellowstone National Park. Canyon Lodge is central to everything & easy to get anywhere in the park. Our room was clean & spacious. We stayed in the lodge across the way from the main lobby & check in. The accommodations & food are basic but fit in w/the Yellowstone experience. Kyle checked us in. He was very friendly, professional & helpful! Heads up there is little to no internet, but this is common when staying inside the park. Unplug & enjoy!

Great location. Was nice place to stay. Food options good. Has a grocery store. Saw lots of animals on property, including bison, moose, bear, and coyote. Would stay here again. We were a group of 8 adults and 6 kids.

Staff was friendly and the location was nice for access to visiting Lamar Valley, the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, Artist Point, Hayden Valley. There were a few different restaurants and we learned this is due to the restaurants also providing services for Campgrounds in the same area. Restaurant and store was a bit crowded. The rooms were nice and we liked the outdoor porch area attached to the room. Internet was not working at all. They did have free charging stations for hybrid and electric vehicles.

Canyon Lodge & Cabins is in an unbeatable location right inside Yellowstone National Park. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the amenities were great for a national park stay. Waking up surrounded by nature every morning was incredible. Highly recommend!

I heard a lot of uncomfortable stories about Canyon Lodge, but when I entered my checked room, it was totally different those what I heard. Check-In process was smooth so that I could check in my room exactly at 4pm. All the facilities were new and clean. Most staff were very kind and clear. Room temperature was controlled well and was effective.

The Canyon Lodges are centrally located within Yellowstone. The best part of staying there is it is literally a 5 minute drive to get into Hayden Valley. Wildlife lovers paradise.
