The cabin was clean, surrounded by nature, even a gentle fog in the morning. A true joy for my 2 nights.

Moore House was very easy to find. All directions and instructions sent by the owners were easy to follow. The room was perfectly clean and just what was expected. We didn’t meet the owners until the day after arrival. Very nice and willing to talk for a bit. Breakfast in the morning was just as described and the coffee was hot. We didn’t inquire about the hot tub, but it was present. After a couple of incidents from other guests, Caley was very calm and cool and ready to work with all involved to reach a good outcome. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

My stay at the Moore House Inn was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment I arrived until the time I checked out, every aspect of the experience was seamless and welcoming. The inn itself is a remarkable piece of history, beautifully preserved while still providing all the comforts needed for a relaxing stay. Walking through the property felt like stepping back in time, with each room and detail telling part of a larger story. What truly set this experience apart was the staff. They were attentive, engaged, and genuinely invested in making sure every guest felt at home. Their hospitality, knowledge of the property’s history, and willingness to assist with anything needed made a lasting impression. Whether you’re a history enthusiast, looking for a peaceful getaway, or simply searching for a unique lodging experience, the Moore House Inn delivers on every level. I highly recommend it and look forward to returning in the future.

Hello, Stayed 2 nights in the compact full room upstairs. It is newly renovated and I was the 1st guest. There was plenty of room for me to move around comfortably. The lighting was sufficient and the window provided enough natural light. There were sufficient number of hangers. Bed was firm and comfortable and the comforter was very warm on the 1st night and just right on the 2nd night when it was colder. There was a extra heavier blanket that was good for the 1st night. The bathroom is on the smaller side and is as shown in the photos. It is enough to use it for what it is needed for. Plenty of hot water and towels. The room opened to the outdoor patio which has a nice view and would have made for a good spot to enjoy a morning cup of coffee...if it was not as cold and rainy. There were other guests in the inn but it was quite and only saw them during breakfast. Breakfast was...bagels, english muffin, fruits, yougurt, oatmeal packets etc.. enough for a good start in the morning and the coffee and tea are available through out the day. The narrower stairs to the upstairs room are not a problem with smaller luggage and there is plenty of light through out the house. There are books and puzzles if you don't want to watch TV or be outside. The wi-fi was good and was needed as the cell service was choppy. It was wonderful to wake up listening to the birds in the morning. The host is very responsive. This is a wonderful place to stay among nature.

Clean room. Great pillows. Cozy and laid back. Staff stocked the continental breakfast even though I seemed to the only one there that day.

The Patton cabin was an excellent experience from start to finish and we will definitely be back! They coordinated with us before we got there and made sure everything was ready for our late arrival. The place was very clean and spacious for two. The fire was so cozy to have in the bedroom.

We stayed in a room at the Inn, which was beautifully decorated, clean, cozy and very comfortable. The owner was inviting and made us feel so welcomed. She provided recommendations for a place to eat dinner, which was also very good, and she had a great selection of breakfast items to choose from in the morning! We would love to plan to go back and stay in one of the cabins as well. Thank you for treating us so special!! I've already shared your place with all of my friends on facebook!! Sharyn Hutson

The hot tub was amazing. The fireplace in the living room was amazing. We were perfectly comfortable the entire stay. Loved the views all around the cabin. Loves the proximity to town. Owners were amazing. Very quick responses and very accommodating. I highly recommend if you are in the area and need a place to stay to book with them.

Absolutely beautiful stay! Everything was perfect from the moment we drove up to the INN. Communication was top tier and even included a handwritten note on our bed to let us know if we needed anything to not hesitate to ask.

Wow! Nice place. The owners reached out to me and helped me secure a two bed option when I had mistakenly booked a queen bed only. My brother was delighted not to have to sleep on the floor. Also, their suggestion for dinner that night was fantastic.
