I did not mean to rate amenities as poor, more that this is a lovely basic hotel with no real amenities unless you consider breakfast which was great. The accommodations are simple, clean and comfortable. The air conditioner worked well the staff was helpful, and the continental breakfast was great with lots of choices for a cold breakfast. All rooms require climbing 1 or more flights of steps with bags so if that would be a challenge for you, do not select this property. Great location.

Had a lovely stay at Oasis Guest House! I only stayed overnight for a World Cup match, but the room was very comfortable. The free upgrade was very appreciated, and the staff was warm and welcoming! The AC and luggage storing were such a bonus.

This little gem is perfect for visiting Boston. I came solo from the UK and it was exactly what I needed. The room is basic, but cosy and very quaint. I didn’t spend much time there anyway as I was looking to travel around the area. The location is ideal- it is away from the busy streets and loud areas of downtown but just a 15 minute train journey from Massachusetts Ave. station. The staff were really friendly. Jose, who checked me in, told me what was in the area and he recommended some great spots. Mike was also super helpful when I thought I’d lost my earphones. He was also on hand to help get me back to the airport which saved me some time and money. This is a perfect place if you’re wanting to see Boston and in a quiet location for when the day is done and you want to relax. I highly recommend staying here and if I visited again, I would come back to this gem.

This property is a beautifully renovated brownstone, with new fixtures and decor. Very inviting, immaculately clean and peacefully quiet. Great neighborhood for walking, convenient to T stops and downtown. Highly recommended.

Our bags were heavy, we couldn’t imagine walking them up to the 2nd or 3rd floors. The staff were so kind—helped us get into a suite on the first floor. We had a terrific stay.

Friendly staff. We stayed in a very clean and quiet smaller room. Perfect location for just about anything because of the proximity to the T . Nice breakfast and they even had a printout of restaurants with proximity, description, price range and ratings. We did come with an oversized truck but because of great communication before we got there, we were able to find and reserve convenient parking. We really enjoyed our stay.

For the price and location, a great value. The room was tiny and no-frills, but as we were looking for nothing beyond a place to sleep for the night, all expectations were met. There is a parking garage down the street that offers guests a discounted rate (a good deal by Boston standards!) via the hotel's link. The hotel is a short walk to both Fenway Park and the green line "T" (subway), making it a perfect home base for a night out.

I stayed in the Oasis GH for 2 nights while visiting my son, witnessing sports events (Red Sox, World Cup), and getting my musical instrument adjusted. Its location was perfect for me. The desk staff were friendly and helfpul. The free breakfast had everything I wanted--OJ, granola, yogurt, fruit, breadstuffs, and tea. The room was a bit cramped (especially the night my son stayed over) and dated, but I was not in it that much and therefore it was quite satisfactory. I would stay again.

Welcoming and helpful staff that provides a clean and well maintained property. It was very convenient to the Back Bay Area and was only a 1/2 mile from Fenway and the T Train which made it convenient to get around the city. The steep stairs were a challenge at times with full hands and no elevator but it was well advertised that big suitcases are discouraged. Enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again in the future.

Great location for walking to both Fenway, Newbury street, and subway stops. Clean and comfortable rooms with good water pressure in bathrooms. Very friendly staff upon checkin and were able to hold our bags after checkout while we continued touring around!

We had a wonderful experience here. The communication prior to arriving was clear and explained the property well. From our first contact, Scott, every interaction with staff was positive and friendly. The room, with a private bath was spotless and comfortable. While Oasis was described as in a residential area, it is a two minute walk to restaurants and a 10-15 minute walk to Fenway Park. The breakfast included pastries, English muffins, toast, bagels, fruit, hard boiled eggs, cereal, granola and yogurt. It was an overall positive experience!
