Loved our weekend stay in the cutest lodge in the cutest mountain town. The staff was great and helpful. The lodge is lovely and a perfect place to get some peace and quiet from the busy city. The only thing I would love to see improved upon was the king mattress in our room. It has lived a good life supporting many travelers and it’s time to send it to mattress heaven. Wouldn’t hesitate to return to Idyllwild and this lodge :)

We loved our stay here at the Grand Idyllwild Lodge. The staff were very responsive to our needs. Our room was exceptional with a beautiful electric fireplace and lovely linens on the bed. We stayed during the week so we had the continental breakfast. Bagels, scones and breakfast sandwiches were offered. Along with yogurt and hot and cold cereal. Coffee, tea and juices had also been set out. We definitely will be returning again.

Romantic weekend away and this was the perfect spot for us. Good breakfast, hot tub, comfy beds and enjoyed a happy hour glass of wine on them. Would 100% return.

The room was very spacious, neat, quiet and clean. Especially the bed was really comfortable. I can also say we used all the amenities such as mini golf, sauna, hot tub and board games. We didn't have a private patio with our room so we played board games at shared areas watching birds and mountains. It was fun. The continental breakfast was great too. I think they serve bagels from a popular local shop and they are super delicious. I just need to say that the ice machine in the bar area was not clean... It was moldy inside. They need to clean it. But besides that, we had a great and relaxing time there. We would like to stay there again.

The breakfast was excellent, and plenty of it! My husband and I enjoyed the fireplace at night and loved listening to all the birds and wildlife. This was our second time staying at the lodge. The Romance room views on the 3rd floor are the best! Staff could not be more welcoming or friendly! 2 thumbs up!

This place exceeded our expectations. Everything was top notch. Daniel and Shawn very very professional, friendly and helpful. They showed us around the place, informed us about the breakfast deal for the next morning and gave us a great restaurant recommendation for dinner just a couple of steps away from the Lodge. Will definitively go back.

Lovely stay. This hotel has charm, beautiful architecture with large rooms, comfortable bed and an outstanding shower. Nested amongst pine trees and is only a 5 minute drive to downtown. The library is nicely appointed with large windows to enjoy the views. The Anora Cafe which has excellent food plus live music was less than a 10 minute walk away. This place was a pleasant surprise…

Beautiful inn tucked in the pines. Rooms were well furnished and comfortable. The property was beautiful and peaceful. The included breakfast was great with fresh local foods. Would definitely stay again.

Great place to stay! The staff was great and Rebecca worked hard to make sure everything was running smoothly. The only negative is if there is a room above you it can be loud with just someone walking normally.
