Amazing hotel. Clean, comfortable rooms, great bathroom/water pressure in the shower, very spacious, kind staff, great breakfast to get you fueled up for all your adventures. Not worth saving money to stay at more budget places because this place really isn’t that much more but offers so much better amenities you want after a long day of hiking.

I very much enjoyed my stay at hotel Kosten Aike in El Calafate. The hotel is a big lodge with nice decor, very friendly staff and nice clean room. I would’ve loved to stay longer if I knew how nice the hotel is. I like the large room with large bed. Lots of toiletries which was a plus in Patagonia, comparing to the other places I had stayed prior to this hotel. The breakfast was excellent, lots of choices and great pastries. The gift shop at the hotel is fantastic!! Their prices are better than the stores in El Calafate!!

Room was very stylish with unique textile usage. Spacious, good wifi even though I was at the end of a hallway (which often means you're out of the coverage area. Breakfast buffet had lots of choice. Manicured grounds. Excellent location yet quiet. One of the better hotels in Calafate

This is a great property in "downtown" El Calafate right by all the shopping and restaurants. We only stayed for 1 night before we flew out of El Calafate, but the staff were very friendly, the room was just what we needed, and the breakfast was good. Would definitely stay here again.
