I love older buildings and this hotel has a lot of character and charm. The only thing i didn’t like was that they don’t have a restaurant. Still good value for money 😉

I have been given a very large old fashion room (the hotel is an Art Deco heritage listed building) with enclosed bathroom. Both very clean, a big screen tv and a fridge. The location is awesome, very central and close to the mall and many points of interests. The staff very friendly. It's reasonably priced. Highly recommended

After driving over 2,000 kilometers across five days, our road trip came to an end at the Criterion Hotel Perth, where we stayed from August 22nd (Friday) to August 23rd (Saturday), 2025. It truly felt like the perfect place to close out such a long journey. The hotel’s location was excellent — right in the city center, which made it easy to step out and enjoy Perth’s sights without needing to drive anymore. Check-in was handled smoothly and warmly, which was exactly what we needed after days of constant travel. Most importantly, the room gave us the chance to finally rest and recharge. Falling asleep that night felt like the reward at the end of the trip, and waking up refreshed in the middle of the city was the perfect way to transition from road trip mode back into city life. For anyone finishing a long journey or planning to explore Perth, this hotel fits the role perfectly. 5日間で2000kmを超えるロードトリップのラストを飾ったのが、2025年8月22日（金）から23日（土）に宿泊した「クライテリオンホテルパース」でした。長い旅路の終着点として、本当にぴったりの場所でした。ホテルは市内中心部にあり、パース観光にとても便利。車を降りてそのまま街歩きができる立地で、ロードトリップ後の気分転換にも最高でした。チェックインの対応もスムーズで丁寧で、旅の疲れを抱えて到着した身にはありがたかったです。何よりもしっかり休めたのが大きかったです。長旅のご褒美のように深く眠れ、翌朝は市内の景色を楽しみながら気持ちよく一日を始められました。ロードトリップの締めくくりやパース観光の拠点として、とてもおすすめできるホテルです。

We pick the criterion because its cheap for a 1 night stay and in a good location but its extremely noisy and if not in an updated room, extremely worn out. We had a leaking tap all night but it wasn't worth asking to change rooms as we got in very late and flew out the next day for work. 2 people in the next door room got in, in the early hrs, and were so loud we couldn't get back to sleep. The sound proofing is terrible. In saying that though we probably will return if we need a cheaper stay in perth as a layover for another flight. They have an 11am check out time which is better then some! A didi or uber is quite reasonable from and to the airport from there also. Its actually in a really good position close to all you need.
