Not a party hostel, but an opportunity to go out and enjoy Sydney nightlife. This is an amazing hostel with amazing staff and friendly people. If you want to be alone, hostels with 4 or 6 beds or dorms with quite comfy beds are an ideal place to stay. There are many visitors on the roof or in your room if you want to meet new people. Almost every night, the event manager also takes care of taking guests out or arranging a free bar on the rooftop. On Fridays. I had a great time there and loved the bunkhouse family.

Overall, a good stay, and lukas was especially helpful and kind when checking us in and out and facilitating the use of the hostels luggage storage. I spent a week here in a private apartment with my boyfriend while traveling around Australia. The building itself was quite outdated, with a relatively modest room and a tiny kitchen. Because everyone had room for one another, the kitchen wasnt too large, but it can be a little overcrowded at times. Because there were only two little tables, the dining area was a little too small, which obviously filled up very quickly during busy hours. But, the rooftop terrace was lovely, and we ate breakfast there in the morning. Although the building was a little outdated, it was extremely clean. Staff cleaned it daily, including the spotless toilets. That meant three different employees entered our room every morning between 10 and 12 AM, but we quickly became accustomed to this and were out often anyway. Our bed was extremely cozy, and there was a fan that kept the air flowing, which was great on the hot days! The other staff in the hostel was pleasant, some of them appeared to work at the hostel, so the staff was very pleasant! The location is great, a little odd on a weird road, but there are plenty of places to get quick meals and excellent supermarkets. Also, kings cross station was really helpful, and the center

We stayed here for a week starting the year, found it difficult to speak to anyone and that the fridges and kitchen were full of longterm food and alcohol. The free breakfast was ok and so was the bbd on the terrace we had originally paid for a 4-bed dorm but after being separated on the first night due to an error we were put in a private room which was ok. January in Sydney is hot but the rooms could use air conditioning. The wifi was dodgy but usable.

We stay here for a week and will do it again. They have lots of activities to do while staying here and it is very easy to meet people. There are many dishes to use and the beds are warm and comfortable. The bathroom is a little small with just a curtain separating you from everyone else but other than that it was a great stay.

Sydney Zentrum, The Rocks und die typischen Sightseeing-Ziele sind zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Das Frühstück ist rustikal aber ausreichend, das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zimmer, Küche und Gemeinschaftsbad sind ausreichend sauber und in Schuss. Die Zimmer sind selbstschließend, gegen Schlüsselpfand kann man Küchenutensilien leihen. Trotz Zimmer Richtung belebte Straße nicht zu laut.

Stayed there a couple of days when me and my family were visiting Sydney. My parents are really not used to live in backpackers hostels but since this place was the only one available we didn't have much of a choice. From reading other peoples reviews, I was expecting a really shabby hostel with a lot of junkies but I was actually quite nice. It was easy getting there from the airport since it's close to the Kings Cross station. The hostel is located in a red light district, but we didn't notice it that much since the hostel is located in a lane (and when you walk in to Sydney CBD you don't pass through the street with the porn shops.) It's close to the Royal Botanical Garden and the Opera House so if you're just there to see the city and don't want to spend a lot of money on a hotel, this is a perfect place to live. We stayed in two double rooms and they were quite okay (really okay to be a hostel at this price).The breakfast was simply just toast, marmalade, milk and some corn flakes, nothing fancy (but regarding that is was included in the price it was actually pretty ok). The man in the reception was really nice and helpful! The only negative I have to say was that even though that it was supposed to be quiet after 10 pm people were really loud and ran around in the hallway.
