If you're visiting Salzburg, I highly recommend staying here. Such a wonderful spot to stay while touring Salzburg and the surrounding region. We stayed in room number one, which is on the top floor, which is incredibly spacious, offers a city view, a kitchen, a very comfortable king bed, and a lovely bathroom with a large glass shower. Our hosts, Caroline and Roland, were friendly and helpful, making sure our visit there was the most enjoyable. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of meats, cheese, bread, including sweet bread, yogurt, fruits, and vegetables. Caroline would bake eggs whatever you wanted. All are delicious! The apartment also had an espresso machine, and Caroline offered teapots. Caroline was able to arrange a fun and informative horse drawn carriage ride into the city.

We would love to go back. It was one of our best vacations. The room was extremely large, romantic, decorated great, fully equipped, and very clean. Breakfast was amazing, with the highest quality of products and a wide variety. We loved everything about this property and especially the kindness and professionalism of the owners caroline and roland. We dread going back soon.

The rooms and apartments are located in the context of a centuries-old family home and bakery. The original details have been lovingly restored, but all the infrastructure bathrooms, wifi, televisions, and kitchens are top notch at the level you would expect from a 45-star hotel. The owners are very pleasant and the entire property is immaculately maintained and clean. Easy to recommend as a base to visit Salzburg and the surrounding region.

This past week, my husband and I had the honor of staying at Die Haslachmuhle. Because we were visiting Slovakia to pick up a new furry family member, we were only there for one night. We had a canine collection with us. We stayed in the city view room, which had a huge balcony and lovely masonry heater. That room was so wonderful! Many books, most of which appeared to be in German, are on the walls, making them so interesting to peek over the hills. After a lengthy journey from Germany, it was wonderful to see the sun sink over the mountains. The bathroom had a lovely shower, and the bed was a great size and comfortable. Finally, everything was immaculately tidy. We also appreciated the free parking, which is uncommon in some places. The be is charming and even has it's own tiny chapel. The proprietor even cooked eggs for us, and breakfast was abundant. The whole was also really welcoming. I kept telling myself we needed to stay longer because I couldn't wait to return. Although I love Salzburg, twice out of three times we've been there, we have only stayed there for two nights on the way from or from home in Germany. Die Haslachmuhle nicely fits the bill if you want a unique, historic, and romantic setting to stay. We hope to return.

When suddenly we realized that we had so much to say during our visit, we almost felt like guests. No one in the dozens of modern hotel chains, but the guests of the place. They gave us the impression we had been invited, and the hosts did everything they could to make sure we were happy. The structure is very old and full of character. The room is tastefully decorated and tidy. In Japan, only four-star hotels can compare to cleanliness. Breakfast is excellent. The quality of the breakfast was excellent for a very little hotel. Although it may seem a far off location away from the city, walking downhill to all the tourist attractions took about 35 minutes. A €6 Uber taxi trip back. The quiet location and high-quality bedding played a pivotal role in a good night's sleep.
