We stayed for 5 nights over the new year. The rooms are large but smelled like stale smoke which wasn't good. Breakfast is plentiful and free drinks to take up the mountain. As we arrived late we didn't know what to do for dinner, obviously you have to pre-order since there is no a la carte. We decided to eat out most evenings as we weren't sure we'd be back for an rp dinner. The exception was New Years Eve when we made our reservation for dinner and were very happy we did because it was delicious, a 5 course supper and a great value. I think more can be done of the bar area and the general evening activities. There wasn't much atmosphere created despite the hotel being full. The location was generally very quiet. The sauna and steam room suite were very nice. Staff were helpful wherever they were able but there was sometimes a language barrier. There is a games room but it's undecorated. Overall this place has lots of potential, but it was fairly cheap so we weren't complaining. We got a good night's sleep, but our room was at the back of the building and had a view of the forest and the rabbit hatches! Location good for exploring the nearby ski area.

I stayed here with my boyfriend. The location is beautiful, and the rooms are fine. The staff was not good, I believe, there was no lifeguard and we were unable to use the pool. We had a power outage in our room for at least two hours due to ongoing construction. We found tools from the workers in our rooms without being warned if they would come in. The kitchen staff was rude. Generally the amenities were adequate, but the management was very bad.
