The room was clean and fairly spacious. Location was excellent, in the heart of the old town. However, on the first night, I was told there was a mistake on their end and they made me walk with my suitcase to another hotel at 2 am for that one night. On day two, they moved me to the hotel I had actually booked. The room they gave me at the actual hotel was supposed to have a balcony (paid extra for it), but the balcony was connected to the hallway not with my actual room. You'd hardly call this "a room with a balcony" so likely the deception was intentional. To top it all off, on the second day at the hotel, they told me they were out of bread so no breakfast was offered to me, unless I could wait for an hour or so for them to figure out how to get break. Again, breakfast was supposed to be included. I found their carelessness to be incredibly disrespectful--I was not asking for charity, I had *paid* for breakfast and was counting on it ahead of a 14h excursion that day. Their breakfast starts at 8, and with day trips starting around 8.30 to 9 am, you have to gulf it down before you walk 10 minutes to meet your group. In retrospect, I wish I had spent more money and avoid the extra hassle that came with staying at this property.
