We stayed at Herdersbrug hostel for two nights. We chose a dorm room with four beds. We checked in in a cold room, apparently the heater hasn't been switched on, but a lady from reception gave us a different one, kindly! We were upgraded to a big bed dorm room. That was incredible because we had the three of us and our own bottom bed. The room was spotless, with clean bedding and blankets. As the weather was so chilly this weekend, they gave us extra blankets. The staff has been very warm. There were two men and women at the reception, so I assume they are the proprietors. They gave us some extra blankets because the weather was so chilly this weekend. The staff was extremely welcoming. There was a man and a woman at the front desk and I was here every day so I think they are the proprietors. They helped to give very good advice on how to take the bus, find the cheapest gas station in the area, and where not to eat real good Belgian food. French and english are both excellent. The brunch was excellent and there is a beer machine in the common area with a pool table and barefoot. Unter tainting! There is nothing to do in Dudzele, and no other neighborhood eatery, but it is only a damn walk

The location is very strategic but a little industrial. All the employees were very pleasant and clean, as is the breakfast. And then, the cleanliness was very good. After that, the shower was a little slow and needed to be rebuilt. Last but not least, the food was very good. But, there are a lot of downsides here, even if I have strict diet restrictions. Besides that, the location has an excellent view of the river.

I would recommend this hotel to friends. The rooms are clean. The hotel is cheap, clean and the service is good. I got breakfast included in the price with a nice lake view. The service is good too.

We had a good time as a family here. The room was basic but adequate for their purpose, 15 minutes to Bruges and convenient for visiting Brussels. The room has a toilet and shower, plus if soap and shampoo are provided.

We needed accommodation near Brussels and we were very happy with the choice of this hostel. I love the terrace. I also recommend a shared room. The rooms were clean and I no. 1 also had a bathroom and a nice view from the window. I would recommend this for an overnight stay.

We do take phone calls al day.From the train station Zand Square take bus 41 or 42 and get off at Dudzele Dorp, 800 metres from the hostel which is located next to the river.For special taxi rates, please contact the hostel in advance.Please note that when the reception is closed, guests can always contact us by phone. A colleague will kindly help guests with their check-in.Towels are not included in the rate. Guests can rent them at the property for an additional charge of EUR 2 per towel, per stay or bring their own.
