The hotel is well situated in this gorgeous tiny town. It is well known for its gorgeous, stark white cliffs, historic buildings, and the nearby monastery, which is situated on a quiet ridge in a nearby area. The hostess, the proprietor, was incredibly kind and cordial, eager to impart his useful local knowledge. Breakfast was included in the price. Parking was accessible on the street and appeared to be secure.

We ate here with our family on a weekday evening offseason. Despite the fact that there was a large student group dining there, the restaurant offered us a table on the side of the same room and asked if we didn't mind. This wasn't a problem for us! The server was friendly and brought us the appetizers and beverages right away. Everything went smoothly until the main meal. Three out of four people in our party ordered fish. This also arrived promptly the trout was delicious. Whereas the other dish ordered was a meat and vegetables dish baked in a pot, he warned us it would take 1015 minutes to make. Again, it's not a problem. While 3 people at the table ate their fish, it took an additional 30 minutes for the final meal to arrive. In fact, by the time everyone had finished eating their meals, the last dish still hadn't arrived. Numerous attempts were made to get the servers attention to ask about the status of the last dish, but to no avail. When the dish arrived after finally drawing the man's attention, it was at least hot and fresh, clearly someone forgot to make the order or make the food. Overall, a pleasant and welcoming restaurant with a large upstairs room for large groups. The food is typical Bulgarian and quite well prepared, but the excessive long wait for our last meal ruined the enjoyment.

The atmosphere is very real, the rooms and the restaurant also have a lovely terrace with tables for a good evenings and vines. The food is very unique and delicious. Ideal for a quiet and relaxing time with family or friends.

My wife and I stayed here. The place is very comfortable. The architecture is typical of the area. The rooms are spotless and big enough. Breakfast was delicious and great. Dinner was very good and the service was fantastic. Parking was also provided free of charge. Will definitely come back.

At first glance, the hotel appeared hospitable. The reception desk was present on the ground floor, but there were primarily seating spaces and a sizable fireplace that was dormant during the season. A restaurant with tables inside and out on the sizable balcony was on the second level. The upper levels were reserved for hotel rooms. The structure must have been more than a hundred years old. Small inconveniences accompanied it's rustic and historic characteristics. The walls are, in fact, solid stones, so wifi reception was not uniform throughout the room. There were few electrical outlets, and one of them was dedicated to the mini fridge. Dualpane windows were not available due to the construction's age, however, these weren't modern windows. A set of windows opened out of the inside of the wall and pushed inward. Two others opened inward, and one had been dedicated to the mini refrigerator. The two windows were separated by a space of approximately 9 inches, or the thickness of the wall. The water was chilly. She said that communistera buildings typically would usually have hot water in the morning but not the evening. This building predated the communist era, but I thought the generalization might still be true. On our second evening, we did encounter hot water. The hotel would have been good and enjoyable if it hadnt been packed with a bus load of young students just
