Nice charming hotel in a quiet spot, but only a short walk from the slopes. Certainly great value. The included breakfast and dinner buffets were both pretty decent, better than most that I have experienced in the past. Friendly staff.

Spent two week at Hotek Bor in Borovets. Really enjoyed my time at the hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The view of the mountain is lovely. Breakfast and dinner buffets were great. The hotel offers a free shuttle service to the main gondola, yet it is about a 12 minute walk to the Gondola. Perfect way to get a little warm up before heading to the mountain for skiing & snowboarding. I would definitely consider staying at Hotel Bor again for my next visit to Borovets.

I've spent a week in the hotel and did not have any issues wit the accommodation. It was quiet, clean and cheap in price but not in service. Staff was polite and smiling. The food in the restaurant was plenty and delicious.

Hotel Bor is clean, warm, comfortable beds and great staff, out of the way but nothing that a 5 minute walk wouldn't fix. We've hired our ski gear from Pro xtreme side of the gondola fantastic service tell them simon sent you! Cheap as chips

The service at this hotel was friendly and efficient. The location is close to the centre of Borovets, which is also close to the train station. The breakfast was perfect.

Overall, our trip was fantastic, for a low-cost hotel with the necessities. The sign outside still says 4, so they need to update that. The room was very basic, the bathroom was clean, but there was an odd leak. Rooms are cleaned daily, unless we put out the do not disturb sign, which was satisfactory. Half board breakfast small selection of food and drinks. Dinner little selection of food and no drinks included. WiFi is included but access is limited at different times. Ski storage is free for guests but I wouldn't recommend it. The room is located outside the restaurant downstairs and is accessible from outside, the door is not locked, so anyone can access it. The location is great, just a 10-minute walk to the main area of the Ria Hotel, where slopes are located, no noise from local bars etc. Staff is ok, male staff seems to be less approachable than women staff. Didn't seem to understand much English, grabbed passports out of hand during check-in, etc. The sign outside continues to say 4, so it needs to be updated.

The room is very big with a comfortable bed. The location is very good, near the ski lifts and town center. The staff is friendly. I can't say enough nice things about this hotel. They are not too bad at all about the place. The location is very good. The room is very cool, the staff are very welcoming. They also served a good food with standard bulgarian cuisine and we can even enjoy that after a long day skiing. The room is in good condition with big size. The bed was comfortable too. They have a good breakfast buffet.

We stayed here for a week booked by Balkan holidays. The room was adequate, even the grod bed for our son. Shower was great, with large volume of hot water just what you wanted after a day of skiing. Breakfast buffet was limited, but perfectly adequate. Breakfast at 8 00 is too late if you want to take the first lift at 8. 30. It would be much better to have breakfast at 7.30. The evening meal was disappointing, with always soup and a very limited selection of food usually one or two dishes, mostly pork. Very few vegetables and definitely not suitable for vegetarians. The biggest problem was that food was prepared at 07.00 and then quickly cooled so it was often just lukewarm. The owner was helpful and friendly, and the location was close enough to a four-man chair lift that walking was ok in ski boots.

Overall, we were pleased with our stay and would return. On a bed and breakfast basis, we stayed in a three-bedroom villa reserved through Balkan Holidays. The villa was warm and roomy, with antique furniture, but it was clean and comfortable. Two single beds were pushed together in the bedrooms. Ample storage area and radiators that were all individually controlled. Although one shower cubicle leaked onto the floor frequently, the bathrooms were fine with lots of hot water. Cold, drinkable tap water. It was a bit absurd that there was a kettle in the villa but no mugs. Breakfast was served in the main hotel and was ideal for getting some exercise before skiing. There was a coffee maker that produced a good espresso, a selection of meat, cheese, bread, honey, and other beverages. There were also hot eggs and sausages. The location was good, it was a 5-minute walk to the slopes, and it was in a very quiet woodland area.

Hotel is basic but adequate, breakfast is pretty good however the evening meal was disappointing hence only dined in on the first night. There is table tennis, pool, air hockey table and a new sauna available free to use from 4pm to 8pm daily. Overall a pleasant stay based on the price. The hotel is about a 10min uphill walk away from the Gondola which is ok but not ideal but there is ample free parking.

Lovely place to stay with family. Ate in the main restaurant most evenings but walked into the village centre for dinner occasionally, which is a 10 minute stroll. The mattresses seemed new and comfy (I’m very fussy and was worried about that) so I believe have been replaced since the comments in previous years.

Excellent value for money and only 5 minutes up the hill from the slopes ( once you find the wee shortcut) the room was basic but very clean and warm. Nice friendly staff I would definitely book there again.

great location ,walking distance to the center, tasty food but lack of selection, clean and warm rooms, good wi fi , the lobby is cold ans the bar is not operated like it could (not enough staff) I would suggest a game room for the kids, more staff (younger )
