Great relaxing stay. They picked us up at pier four which was unexpected. We thought we were going to have to walk. Beach is beautiful white powder sand. Turkish restaurant beside Orchid was great and we ate there all the time. I’d say orchid was positioned in a good area of the beach.

Photos of the room online are not what it's in reality. Poor rooms, no isolation so you hear everything your neighbours do. Staff not very friendly. Luckily, the surroundings are breathtaking!

시하누크빌 가시는분..꼭 코롱살로엠에서 하루밤 주무시고 가세요..정말 멋진곳입니다. 스피드 보트는 선착장과 오키드와 거리가 있어서...보트택시 5달러주고 가면되구요... 너무나 환상적인 곳입니다.... 물론...벌레도 있도..개미도 있지만..... 때묻지 않은 자연과 함께 멋진 휴가를 만끽할 수 있는곳입니다..

The perfect hotel in a great place... The view from the room is of turquoise water and white sand, which you can enjoy from your private balcony/terrace area. I would say the rooms are quite basic but are comfortable and have all you need! Even a small shower by the front door to wash your feet prior to entry. The restaurant has one of the most incredible views, situated in the middle of the beach, with very reasonable prices for food ($6 curry) and drink ($2 beer). Second time staying here and would 100% return! Also very clean and attentive staff! Thank you!

I stayed in Orchid Resort while backpacking with a friend in Combodia. Superb beach front rooms. The guys at the Reception Counter were extremely nice. Good food at the restaurant. WiFi available only at the restaurant. Since there are mosquitoes at the beach, carrying mosquito repellent creams/sprays is advisable. Lazy beach- another awesome beach- is some 20 minutes walk from Orchid resort. Stay definitely recommended!

The staff is really inadequate for this job. They constantly seem to be ignoring what is happening and why; and couldn´t care less about improving the hosts´ experience. The cleaning crew is good but there is no clear instruction on how to make them to clean the rooms.

This was our second time staying there and they had upgraded the bathrooms since last time; they were fully enclosed this time versus partial last time. We go there to relax and not have a pool and other amenities because we have the ocean. It is set back far enough so you don't interact or feel people are walking by you. The restaurant was much better this time than last. I just wished they cleaned the trash up in the back behind the rooms outside so you feel like it is inhabited. There is not a lot but it would not take a lot of time to do.

The hotels on the islands should provide more information on what boat service to book with in order to get dropped off as close to their facility as possible. I asked at least 3 different ferry companies before going with speed ferry cambodia which dropped me off a few docks away from the hotel. I had to walk in the sun with a 50lb luggage bag which was pretty irritating and then when I got to the check in counter no one showed up for about half an hour. After that everything else at the hotel was great. Relatively clean and comfortable, good for the price.

We been 6 nights there, they have the option of room with direct sea view or bungalow with sea view (some direct,some indirect). We got bungalow sea view option and is the best, very quiet and relax. Nice place for breakfast although is not super big breakfast. Pancake and ice coffe was my favorite. Quality/price very good option. Have more nice bungalow in Sarence bay, but are double price, just depend of your budget.

resort could use a makeover, ceiling fan didn't work but they provided a very good floor fan, albeit was filthy with dust. bed was comfy and pillows good. breakfast was simple, plain omelette and white baguette with butter, had to ask for jam.

Für den Preis war es OK es gab warmes Wasser großes Zimmer tolle Aussicht 15 Meter zum Wasser hier ist der Strand noch am schönsten Leiter hatten die Moskitonetze Löcher das Essen und Frühstück war solala Ca.100 Meter weiter rechts ist dafür ein tolles Restaurant welches besser und günstiger ist

Orchid Resort is a fabulous place on the absolutely stunning Koh Rong Sanloem island. The island is undeveloped so there are only a handful of resorts to choose from and they are all right on the beach offering idyllic beach bungalows. The Orchid bungalow was well maintained and clean and provided us with everything we needed for a few nights in paradise. The Restaurant serves great food which is slightly higher priced than the mainland (for obvious reasons). Would definitely recommend Orchid Resort. Note that there is a pier right outside the resort but that not every ferry stops at the Orchid pier so you may be faced with carrying luggage over the beach from the other pier to the resort as there are no paved pathway.
