I was going to rate four stars, but I honestly couldn’t think of the justification to drop a star. Great one night stay in downtown Toronto. Cereal and toast is available in the morning. There’s two dishwashers so one is always available to put dirty dishes in. You have your cubby of a room; the mattress foam was like the cheese puff type of mattress, so there’s not really any resistance. I had no problems sleeping though. Towels are available, take when you need and a basket to toss in when done. You walk in, nice person at reception who gives you a tour at check-in. First room is communal living area, so kitchen, living room with TV, some tables, conversation couch. In the first hall, there’s another hall to the right for men’s/women’s bathrooms (the doors could have been cleaner), laundry and women’s shower room to the left. Laundry seemed expensive, maybe $20/load. I didn’t use it, but newer machines. Then, you get to the “quiet area” where you pass through a door and have the sleeping cubbies/pods. Going full circle, the opposite side of the living area has the men’s shower and then study rooms. The study rooms are twofold: bar-style seating along a window, and then individual “meeting” rooms where you close out the rest of the world. To get there, you go up sheltered stairs. It’s very close to the police station and US embassy/consulate, so solid police presence made me less concerned walking around. Would stay again.

I stayed for 11 nights and had a brilliant experience. Wonderful staff, comfortable mattresses, great facilities (I never had to wait for the shower). Breakfast of toast and cereal was a nice as well. Great location for seeing the city.

It’s like sleeping in a berth on a train, with all the beds lined up. Other ppl were quiet and well behaved. My advice is to bring ear plugs (never know if there’ll be a snorer) and an eye mask. Also I think a ‘hair and makeup’ mirror would be useful so the bathroom sinks could be freed up a bit

Staffs are the best. They ready to help and solve every problem. However, bathrooms and change rooms are separated. So, it is inconvenient. You can use washer and dryer if you stay at least 3 nights and the cost is $20.

This location is relatively new & it shows as the Pod Inn is spic & span. The amenities are sufficient based upon the price point. What sealed the deal for me was its location. Union station is just a few minutes away on the TTC as well as other nearby tourist attractions. The staff are helpful & knowledgeable. The breakfast, while simple, is also good.

スタッフの方が親切でした。深夜チェックインにも対応してもらえて助かりました。ユニオン駅から徒歩20分くらいです。朝食はトースト、シリアル、ジャム、コーヒーがついていてよかったです。全体的にコンパクトでアットホームな雰囲気でした。入り口が少しわかりにくく、道路に面した階段をのぼり奥に進むと、さらに小さな階段があり、2階に入り口があります。この立地で安いだけでも助かりますが、強いて言えば、シャワーはお湯の水圧が弱く、固定式のかなり高い位置に設置されていて使いにくかったです。そのためか、シャワー後に掃除ができず、あまり綺麗ではなかったです。扉にフックが2個ついてます。脱衣所がないので工夫が必要です。ベッドに鍵付きのセキュリティーボックスがついてましたが壊れてました。また、なぜかセキュリティボックスの中にコーヒーフィルターのゴミがありました。ほかはトイレットペーパーがきれていたりなど掃除や管理は改善点がありそうですが、立地とスタッフの方がよかったので行ってよかったです。
