This hotel is perfect, just be sure to ask for a non-smoking hotel. The bar was empty, the cocktails were bad, the staff was bored. There was no live music, the breakfast was good, a very good staff and the facilities at the swimming pool are good.

I stayed at the hotel for three days. Checking went smoothly because there was local help in the front desk conversation, which would have been difficult for me because nobody at the front desk speaks English. The rooms were opulent. The rooms were, in my opinion, the best part of the hotel, mys was on a higher floor with an amazing view and was extremely large. The bathroom had a bathtub and was ideal. Now for the food, to be honest, there isn't much that can be eaten by outsiders either at the buffet or calm. In the restaurant, espresso was the only beverage offered. The menu had a very few options, and only a few of them were unavailable. They use their phone to translate and communicate because English is a problem. I'm pleased with the rooms, but the food is a problem.

Sovereign Hotel is a top rated hotel in Zhanjiang. It's in a prime location where you can visit nearby attractions. Great service from the hotel staff but one can't speak English very well.

An elegant and luxurious hotel. Strong Asian style and not too western. Great breakfast and a wide variety of restaurants. Large and clean rooms. Poor English but much better than other hotels in the area. Good satellite to.

I stayed for two nights with my family. Our rooms were lovely and had turndown service in the evening. The lobby is stylish and the beds are comfortable. The staff is nice. Western and Chinese breakfast buffet. Live piano music in the lobby was a nice touch in the evening.
