We stayed in a business hotel in Chennai for 7 nights with my six-person family. We reserved the hotel room via application. We requested three rooms on the same floor. The hotel staff neglected that request and said they could only assign two rooms on the same floor while the other was on a different floor. We agreed because we had no choice. Both room 260 and room 102 both have spooky scenes for my family. The customer service workers then assisted in changing one of the rooms to room 102 after waiting for three days. The rooms had closet closet hangers, a hairdryer, and two bedroom slippers. The hangers behind the door allow you to hang your clothes. Customer service is terrible when I explained that the telephone in both room 260 and 261 was broken. She told us to leave the taxi out on our own. There are several Chinese eateries and a 7-11 close. I personally like a soya bean store and youto about a minute away. Yellow is on the signboard. The bus stop opposite the hotel is closest to zhangzizhonglu. You can also use bus 116 to visit the Tan Tan attractions, alight at the Fa Hua Shi bus stop, and you will reach the attractions north entrance. In general, I won't stay at this hotel for my next vacation in Beijing.

We spent 11 nights here and thought it was an excellent base to see Beijing. The room was very clean and the showers were hot. The reception and cleaning staff were all very pleasant. Ive read in other reviews that rats are heard in the ceilings. We also heard rats, but otherwise a good hotel. The same side of the road is a 711 convenience shop that takes food out up the street. Very nice and quite affordable.

The chennai is a great spot to stay in Beijing on north dongs street. Close to the zhangzizhonglu station on line 5, which is an interchange for many lines. The silk market, zoo market, tiananman, beijing airport, and major railway stations are all easily accessible. There are lots of restaurants, street food, and some excellent massage parlors nearby. Only three stars are given because the hotel is reasonably clean. The personnel is quite pleasant and seek assistance wherever it is possible because English is not spoken here. I was upgraded upon arrival even though I had already paid for a basic room. I've remained at this motel several times and will definitely return when I visit Beijing again. The drains' terrible odor, especially in the morning when everyone is up and taking showering throughout the hotel, are the drawbacks. Take some perfume and spray it around to try to mask the odor. If it were cleaner, I would recommend this hotel and would rate it higher.

The hotel's location is perfect. Nearly everything is accessible, and everything is conveniently located via subway or bus to all the city's main tourist attractions. The ghost street, lama temple, and confucian temple are all within easy walking distance. The temple of heaven has 6 bus stops and 2 bus stops, and the wifi was reasonably good, which was quite a shock. The staff was friendly and helpful. Unless we left, the cleaning lady would change our towels every day. The Do Not Disturb sign above the door is on the door. Which was nice. The room has air conditioning. It was weird that the staff didn't want to assist me with taxi arrangements. I'm aware that they do not have a phone number, but they kept stating that. Although I know they do, they don't have one. Cabs in Beijing can be easily arranged on the app. Any hotel must offer this type of service. To be honest, cabs run through the street at any time of the day, so you can easily hail them. I did notice some noises from the ceiling to the hotel might have rats. If not frequently ventilated, the room can emit an unpleasant odor. It emanates from the bathroom's largely periodic sewage.

Overall, a good value for money, though a little far from the metro from both sides. I was fortunate to walk in this Chinese hotel after visiting several hostels but they were all full. I paid 287 a night for a single room with a double bed. The staff is helpful but not very English speaking. The room itself was good and quiet, and the shower was quite a relief.
