What a wonderful time in Casihita! Miguel welcomed me with open arms and offered me a ton of recommendations for the region. On my first day, I explored the entire lago, stopping for a visit to Playa Blanca and a local fiesta in Cliciva. On the second day, I hiked the param with a local guide Maria. I stayed at the cazihita hostel for three days, and it felt like home. It was well worth every peso to stay in the blanca room, which has a private bathroom. Many thanks to Miguel!.

This hostel is ideal for some days to do outdoor activities. The owner doesn't speak English. He recommended a great local guide, Wilson Perez for hiking param is a must! In English.

The room was very quiet with a very efficient laundry service. The rooms were clean and very nicely decorated with a kitchen and a very lovely garden for me.

As I usually stay in hostels, I usually stay for cheap, so I was hesitant to spend more than I normally spend. But this location was amazing to me. Really cozy, felt like home, though, if you travel alone, it might be lonely. Miguel was welcoming and helpful, giving us suggestions and directions for activities. Even though we had just met, Elsa welcomed us under her wing and showed us around the town, it felt like visiting a friend in their hometown. All of the amenities are fantastic, fully functional kitchen, fantastic bathrooms, and luxurious beds. Without a doubt, I would recommend this location!.

Its a fantastic hostel with a welcoming, peaceful atmosphere and kind and kind owners. The blanca room with a private bathroom was spacious, had enough closet space, and had a comfortable bed that was cleaned every day. The shower was a little small and not as hot as we expected, but it was sufficient! The kitchen is spotless and equipped with everything you could need. Free water, coffee, and tea are all provided. The living room has reading lamps and not very comfy sofas. The very kind owners were very helpful! highly recommended!.
