Die Unterkunft ist perfekt für alle die dem großen Trubel La Fortunas entfliehen wollen. Klar, die Ausstattung ist einfach aber alles ist vorhanden. Der liebevoll gepflegte Garten und der wunderschön angelegte Pool. Morgens kamen die Kolibris auf die Terrasse, Abends mal ein Gürteltier und Brüllaffen konnten wir vom Badezimmerfenster in den Bäumen beobachten. Sollten wir jemals wieder nach Fortuna kommen würde ich die selbe Unterkunft wählen.

Very pleasant quiet stay with a great view of the volcano. Comfortable bed. I sat on the porch and watched the birds flying about including a hummingbird and four macaws.

This is a gem of a place. Minimalistic with all the necessary stuff, neat and has a good view of the Arenal Volcano. Diana, the host was super helpful and attended to our needs. Loved staying here. It's also close to all the main attractions. Would definitely recommend. Thanks.

I had a wonderful stay. Diana was very kind and helpful. The property is well tended to. The surrounding views are beautiful. It is quiet out there, except for all the birds and crickets at night. My room was clean and bed comfortable. A cute kitty freely wandered the property, often napping outside my door.

OMG! We just loved Chongos Place! The cabins are so cute and beautiful, clean with all necessities. The porch with the hammock was just our favorite place. The plants right outside the porch invite these beautiful hummingbirds and butterflies that we got to observe up close! And the pool was amazing, we spend hours in it each day. Great if you have kids (my daughter never wanted to leave the pool!) And to top it all... the view of the Arenal is breathtaking. Check in/ check outs were smooth and we even did an early luggage drop which was so helpful. The family is so friendly and inviting, they gave us so many helpful insider local tips for activities and meals. They live right next door but respect your privacy while being available if needed. Thank you for a great stay!

Amazing place! It is a little outside the town with an amazing view of the volcano. The property was so relaxing with a pool and shaded areas to hang out. So many birds and a beautiful garden! The actual room was good for sleeping and making simple meals but we spent most of our time outdoors on the property. Would stay again!

Amazing location with beautiful view of Mt Arenal. Staff were amazing - accommodating, friendly, and helpful. Clean and comfy cabins with super comfortable bed!! Little out of main area, but perfect if you have a car.

Beautiful setting in a very well equipped bungalow with great views when the cloud clears! Comfortable bed and decent kitchen with electric frying pan, electric saucepan and toaster which were more than adequate for cooking needs. Great to have the outside porch to enjoying the setting especially in the hanging chair. The weather wasn’t great when we were there but we did enjoy a lovely drive along the shore of the Arenal Lagoon and a great lunch at Tinajas restaurant overlooking the lake just outside Nuevo Arenal. Highly recommend if you have a rental car.

Kaum Kontakte mit dem Vermieter. Bei der Anreise war es nicht ganz klar wem wir fragen sollen. Die Vermieter wohnen daneben aber keine Schilde noch Klingel. Zimmer an und für sich war gut aber der Kontakt war eher kalt.
