We loved our stay here so much! The property is gorgeous and the bungalows feel very private and unique. The staff is incredible helpful and took us to our bungalow to walk us through the amenities. It is worth noting the location is very remote. If you do not have a car, the hotel was very helpful arranging taxis. The final road to get to the property is a very bumpy road so we didn’t want to leave more than we had too. We wish we had an extra day we could’ve spent to just enjoy the property and spa offerings. We did feel like the food in the restaurant could be improved upon for dinner. However breakfast was delicious. We loved the typical breakfast and juice offerings! All in all we would stay here again in a heartbeat! We might better plan to have a car and to eat out in the surrounding town.

Staff was very nice and accommodating. I like that the receptionist / property manager gentleman would walk up to cars to make sure there they were actual guests and there for reason. (He walked up to us parking a few times, especially at night and I appreciated that) The property is beautiful, the bungalow was clean and pretty cool. Pool was great and the AC was pumpin! The property is Close enough to everything yet tucked away from the main road traffic. I would absolutely recommend Jungalo, You won’t be disappointed!!

My favorite place in Costa Rica - maybe anywhere! So quiet and peaceful! You truly feel like you are in the jungle. Upgrade to the spa on deck of your room - amazing to sit and drink coffee or a cocktail in the jungle in warm water. The staff was amazing. The restaurant reasonably priced (it's not everywhere) and delicious. It's on a dirt road, but easily drivable. They will help you plan excursions! My husband, myself and my teenage boys all loved it! Our room had a huge loft the boys stayed in, our room was entry level with indoor outdoor sliding doors, a table, kitchen (though I don't know why you'd cook), fridge, spa - luxury in the jungle most definitely! And super safe!!!!! WE WILL BE BACK!

Beautiful place, waking up and having that beautiful view and the sunrise right in front of you while still in bed is magnificent. The only thing that they could improve is the restaurant that has a bit of an issue with the time to prepare your food.

Views are simply wonderful. Environment is great. Balls in field for kids and games in the room. Candles for the patio. Everything you could need. Enjoyed coffee on the patio as it rained around us.

The property is absolutely beautiful. The staff is very accommodating and friendly and the service is really top notch. I would definitely recommend staying here despite not being central to La Fortuna main area. My only other recommendation is a sturdy car because the road to get there is a little rough.

Beautifully Tucked in the hillside but worth the drive from La Fortuna. The owner, John and smiling staff greeted us with a complementary cocktail My family of 2 adults & 2 teens could only stay one night, but loved the private spacious and modern bungalow. The lush gardens and breathtaking view of valley were exceptional. Pool more for dipping…Too small to swim. More affordable breakfast would be great, but would definitely stay there again.

Great idea putting brand new, fantastic concept, 2 floor, A frames with dual balconies out in a beautiful jungle scene. The restaurant also is a beautifully located and put together open air concept structure, with welcoming lights shining into the darkness beckoning its guests and this place has the most welcoming, hard working staff. This comes right from the top as well since William is such a welcoming guy willing to let you in on his big plans for the place that has only been in existence for a short period of time and he can even whip you up a nice steak. Thanks for the hospitality William. We'll be back to your place.

Everything was very clean and spacious, the view was breathtaking, and the staff was very attentive. Aaron was everywhere taking care of our needs. The pool was intimate and quiet and the restaurant was also lovely. We loved our stay.
