We found this place by chance and were glad we did. It was lovely! Our room was very spacious and there was a common kitchen for cooking which we took advantage of as there was a grocery store close by (short drive but would have been walkable). Lots of character. The couch in our bedroom was a bit shabby but we spent our time downstairs visiting with other guest and the manager.

This place is fascinating. If you're looking for a stay in a modern luxury resort this is not for you. If you want a cozy and welcoming atmosphere with the sense of old danish 'country nobility' in the lower end, you really shouldn't pass on this opportunity. It's not overwhelming. Beautiful house and grounds, great location to get around all of south zealand. The bedrooms were spotlessly clean. Great selection of food served for breakfast, with fresh fruit every morning - perfect for the sunny days spent down there. Hosts Bruno and team were attentive to any need and friendly.

This place radiates history. The interior is authentic for an old danish 'herregård'. its, the perfect getaway from daily stress and also the perfect surroundings for a romantic weekend. It is manages by two brothers, and their service level is simply amazing. It deserves more than one night to really absorb the mood of the place

Et rigtig dejligt sted, så venlig og imødekommende betjening, og hjemlig stemning. Der var en smule koldt i stuerne, optænding i ildstederne ville være hyggeligt. Vi besøger jer gerne en anden gang. Vi ønsker jer held og lykke med restaurering af de gamle mure fra hørspinderiet, og lidt fortælling herom.

Hyggelig og hjemlig atmosfære i den velbevarede og nænsomt restaurerede hovedbygning. Skøn park med store gamle træer Dejligt køkken med moderne faciliteter. Biblioteket står uberørt fra stedets storhedstid. Meget venlig og imødekommende bestyrer. Var på gennemrejse, men kommer gerne tilbage med familien.
