Lage perfekt zwischen Luxor Stadt Ostbank und Tempel und Grabanlagen Westbank.Das Personal ist freundlich, hilfsbereit und immer zur Stelle,wenn man etwas braucht.Personal, das erkennbar gerne und mit Freude dort arbeitet.Eigenes Restaurant mit gutem Essen und günstig, jedoch sollten mehr vegetarische Gerichte angeboten werden.Der Koch war flexibel und hat Gerichte auf Anfrage für vegetarier/veganer angepasst.Frühstück war ausreichend und gut.Die Zimmer sind rel. klein, aber sauber und mit allen Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattet.Grosser Pool war top!Ein paar Liegen waren defekt,trotzdem Anzahl ausreichend. Während der Nacht ist immer jemand da, der die Anlage bewacht.Ein sehr sicherer,ruhiger Ort -perfekt zum Chillen!alle Unternehmungen können von hier aus geplant und gestartet werden - ganz easy!Von uns klare Empfehlung ! ...eigentlich unglaublich für diesen Preis !wenn wir wieder nach Luxor reisen sollten, würden wir ganz klar wieder hier buchen !

In the final of April 2013, I spent a week at the El Farou Hotel. The man who managed the hotel and his two sons took excellent care of me. There was also a staff member who made breakfast and daily room cleaning. The breakfast was egyptian and included all the essentials for getting the day started. The hotel uses a taxi driver to bring you to various west bank attractions for a reasonable price. It takes about 10 minutes to get from the hotel to a landmark or a ferry. Staying on the west bank is not a bad idea if you desire a peaceful spot because of the top cab service. The roof terrace is also fantastic. My time there was excellent.

El phardouse home is located in the middle of nowhere, near Kings Valley. About 8 a.m. from the ferry. You can take a taxi for about 15 le very rustic room with absolutely no comfort. The bathroom with bathtubs, bed, table at bed, another table, and a small closet, that is all. Breakfast was poor, and the time you wanted to eat had to be ordered in the evening. About eating there. It was the most expensive supper I had in luxury and without meat. No air conditioning. There was a wind from broken glass on the door. Nice balcony. The best part was the rooftop. You can see the dessert and Kings valley on one side, while on the other, you can view almost the nile. The staff was friendly. And there are only a few guests. Overall a very different experience from typical Egyptian hotels.

The rooms and bathrooms were extremely basic but nice, clean, and tidy. Many not the latest, but more than enough for our needs. Due to the location, it's quiet and peaceful. Not too far from all the luxury attractions. The owner and his managing son provided excellent assistance, and their warmth took us on a journey back in time when people were friendly to one another. Very strongly suggested for budget and backpackers. And for those looking for a quiet retread after a long day in the desert!.

We will come back to this place again for another visit. A comfortable little hotel with a wonderful view from the rooftop terrace. It was my second visit to this luxury hotel with friends, and we all had a great time. Excellent location, excellent service, excellent cuisine with lots of fresh vegetables and fruit, and fair pricing. We stayed for a week and were treated like family. The hotel staff solved everything we required including transportation, guidance to the temples, the valley of kings, and genuine alabaster and papyrus stores for very reasonable prices.

The hotel is located in a new turn on the west bank, about 10 minutes by taxi from the ferry terminal. The room is simple but nice and clean. Warm showers, but a little water pressure at the second floor. A big plus is the hotel taxi driver, who takes you anywhere on the west bank without hassle or haggling for 10 le. You can even sum him up from any location during the day and he will come and get you for the same price, e. Ex. from the valley of the kings to the ferry. The fantastic roof terrace, where you can relax in the sun or shade bamboo roof, is another big plus. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and there are some small shops selling fruit and biscuits nearby. Traffic noise is minimal, so you are almost guaranteed a good nights sleep except two apparently competing mosques yelling their long and loud prayers each morning at 6 am. But I expect this will be the same everywhere in luxury. Negatives The area is completely dead both day and night, with no place to eat or drink except the hotel restaurant. Even there, you have to order in advance, so they can ask the chef to come, which is really annoying because the location means it takes time to come back, so you will probably end up eating in town not having to plan ahead. I actually don't mind vegetables, but I actually had much more interesting vegetarian dishes

The hotel grounds were gorgeous. Every staff member we met over the few days we were there, always had a smile and were extremely nice. The downside is it's a little far from the other side of town where all the action is. But

There were several inconveniences Room had no heat There was leak in toilet Breakfast just ok They gave a small soap for 2 nights Don’t expect a lot.
